    • Rests against lefty
Julien is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Julien will retreat to the bench with southpaw Reid Detmers on the hill for the Angels. Kyle Farmer will step in for Julien at second base. Rotowire.com Today, 11:22 am

    • Belts two homers in win
Julien went 2-for-4 with two solo homers in Thursday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Julien has shown good power early in the season with seven home runs and a .513 SLG, with three of those long balls coming in his past four contests. He's hitting just .213 and has a 31.9 percent strikeout rate, which is a marginal increase on his strikeout rate from last season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 10:13 pm

    • Julien has two hits, home run in win over CWS
Edouard Julien went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI in a win over the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: The 24-year-old hasn’t had a great start to the season, but he’s playing every day and is starting to find his groove a little at the plate. Although his season slash line is just .213/.308/.513, he has seven home runs and nine RBI and is 7-for-24 over his last six games with two home runs. With the Twins as banged up as they are, he should continue to get a chance to right the ship, and his elite plate discipline and strong batted-ball quality make him a fine waiver-wire target to see if he can keep his hot stretch going. • Contributes stolen base Wednesday
Polanco went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a loss to the Rangers on Wednesday.

Advice: Polanco's struggles at the plate continued for the most part, with his average now sitting at a paltry .175 through 99 plate appearances. However, the veteran also sports a surprisingly solid .333 on-base percentage that's largely the result of his 18.9 percent walk rate. The free pass he drew Wednesday also led to his first stolen base of the campaign, and the combination of Polanco's career-low .234 BABIP and above-average 24.0 percent line-drive rate seems to imply his luck when putting the ball in play should start to turn soon. • Resting Wednesday
Julien is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Julien will retreat to the bench Wednesday while southpaw Garrett Crochet takes the bump for Chicago. Kyle Farmer will step in for Julien at second base and will bat eighth. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:04 pm

    • Belts fifth homer
Julien went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and two RBI in Monday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Julien doubled in a run during the fourth inning before capping off the 7-0 victory with a solo shot in the seventh. He was stuck in a 3-for-24 skid over his previous seven games since his last long ball April 13. Julien continues to flash his power potential with five home runs and eight extra-base hits through 81 plate appearances. However, his inconsistency has led to a .211/.300/.465 slash line. • Edouard Julien homers, plates two in blowout win
Edouard Julien went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI on Monday, leading the Twins to a 7-0 blowout victory over the White Sox.

Advice: Julien did all of his damage in the middle innings once Minnesota already holding a commanding lead, but fantasy managers certainly don’t mind. He smacked an RBI double in the fourth inning before taking reliever Chris Flexen deep for a no-doubter to right field -- his fifth round-tripper of the season -- in the seventh inning to close out the scoring. The 24-year-old on-base machine has gotten off to a slow start at the plate with a .211 (15-for-71) batting average through 21 contests, but he continues to do damage against right-handed pitching. • Sitting for Game 1
Polanco is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rockies, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

Advice: It's the first time out of the lineup this season for Polanco, who is 0-for-10 with four walks and three strikeouts over his past three games. Dylan Moore is starting at the keystone, with Polanco likely to rejoin the starting nine for Game 2. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:02 pm

    • Jorge Polanco sitting out first game of doubleheader
Jorge Polanco is not in the lineup for the first game of a doubleheader against the Rockies.

Advice: Polanco will get a breather and likely will be back at second base for the second game of the doubleheader. Dylan Moore will start at the keystone and hit eighth while Polanco rests. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:31 am
