    • In Monday's lineup
Kim (wrist) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Monday's game versus the Rockies.

Advice: Kim was removed from Sunday's game against the Dodgers after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist. However, X-rays came back clean and he won't wind up missing any starts. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago

    • Connor Wong hitting third for Red Sox on Monday
Connor Wong is starting behind the plate and batting third for the Red Sox on Monday against the Rays.

Advice: Wong has hit as high as second this season but only against left-handed pitching, so having him hit third with Rafael Devers and Tyler O’Neill both in the lineup is surprising. The Red Sox are clearly looking to spark some offense, and Wong is hitting .364/.417/.500 in six games in May with just a 21% strikeout rate, so Boston is looking to see if his hot bat can spark their offense. Fantasy managers who lost Willson Contreras can certainly look to Wong to fill the gap with him swinging the bat this well. Rotoworld Today, 11:38 am

    • Heston Kjerstad sent down to Triple-A
Orioles optioned OF Heston Kjerstad to Triple-A Norfolk.

Advice: Well, now we have the corresponding roster move for the Kyle Stowers promotion. Kjerstad got just 17 plate appearances in this stint in the big leagues, going 2-for-14 with six strikeouts and two walks. It’s likely the Orioles simply wanted him to go back to the minors to get everyday at-bats. Stowers is hitting just .240 in Triple-A; although, he does have 11 home runs, but as a 26-year-old, the Orioles likely feel more comfortable with him operating as a strictly bench bat. • Return to minor leagues
The Orioles optioned Kjerstad to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.

Advice: Kjerstad's stint with the big club came and went with a relative whimper, as Baltimore didn't give him many opportunities after he was called up from Triple-A on April 23. He made just four starts during his 17-game stay in the majors, recording a pair of base hits and two walks over 17 plate appearances. The Orioles remain at close to full health in the infield and outfield and don't have an opening in the lineup for Kjerstad at the moment, so the 25-year-old will move back to Norfolk so that he can play on an everyday basis. Baltimore called up outfielder Kyle Stowers from Triple-A to take Kjerstad's spot on the 26-man active roster. Rotowire.com Today, 11:31 am

    • Settles for no-decision Sunday
Severino did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-3 win over Atlanta. He allowed two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings.

Advice: Severino was punished by Jarred Kelenic in the second inning after serving up a solo home run but otherwise limited the damage. His night ended after allowing the first two hitters to reach in the sixth and he was ultimately charged with another run. Severino has now failed to reach six innings in consecutive starts and has issued nine walks over his last 10 innings pitched. He now owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 41:20 K:BB in 45 innings and will look to get back in the win column over the weekend against the Marlins having not picked up a win since April 17. • Allows run in ninth save
McArthur allowed a run on one hit and did not walk or strike out a batter over one inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Angels.

Advice: McArthur was tagged for a solo home run by Willie Calhoun in the ninth inning, but the Royals' lead was never in real danger. Over 4.2 innings in May, McArthur has yielded six runs (five earned), with three of the eight hits he's allowed in that span leaving the yard. He's 9-for-12 in save opportunities while adding a hold, a 4.42 ERA and a 1.36 WHIP over 18.1 innings this season. The right-hander's shaky pitching of late hasn't cost him the closer job, but John Schreiber has been an excellent setup man and could take over if McArthur doesn't start locking things down. • No-decision Sunday
Montas allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Montas was cruising until the Giants built up a five-run rally in the fifth inning. The right-hander has made seven starts this year, and in the six during which he has been able to avoid injury, he's allowed two or fewer runs three times while giving up five runs in each of the other three. That averages out to a pedestrian 4.20 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB across 30 innings overall. Montas is projected for a difficult road start versus the Dodgers in his next outing. • Pete Alonso drives in two runs in win over Braves
Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday night as the Mets rallied to beat the Braves.

Advice: Alonso got the Mets on the board with a run-scoring single off of Bryce Elder in the third inning. He then plated their other run with an RBI double off of Elder in the sixth inning that tied the game at 2-2. The 29-year-old slugger’s bat has started to pick up a bit, but he’s still hitting a disappointing .223/.305/.453 with nine homers, 22 RBI and one stolen base on the season. • Luis Severino surrenders two runs in no-decision
Luis Severino pitched decently in a no-decision against the Braves on Sunday night, allowing two runs on four hits over his five-plus innings of work.

Advice: The 30-year-old right-hander walked three batters and punched out four on the night. He served up a solo homer to Jarred Kelenic in the second inning, then allowed the first two hitters to reach in the sixth inning before turning the ball over to the bullpen, and one of them ultimately crossed the plate. Severino got 12 swings and misses on 94 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll try to get back in the win column as he totes a 3.00 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and a 41/20 K/BB ratio (45 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Marlins in Miami. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:14 pm
