    • Zack Littell takes tough luck loss to A’s
Zack Littell allowed three runs (none earned) on five hits in seven innings in a loss to the Athletics on Tuesday.

Advice: Littell also struck out nine and walked just one. A Brandon Lowe fielding error got the sixth inning started, and after a walk, Littell was able to get two outs before giving up a three-run shot to Miguel Andujar. That was the difference in the game. The 28-year-old had a dominant performance from his splitter on Tuesday and rode it to a 31 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW overall. He’ll now take a 3.03 ERA into a showdown this weekend with the Orioles where he’ll be a risky option in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld 40 minutes ago

    • Brayan Bello strikes out seven in win over Orioles
Brayan Bello allowed three runs on five hits in five innings in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: The right-hander struck out seven and walked two on the evening. Bello had a rough first inning, allowing all three runs on three hits, but he bounced back exceptionally well and had his entire arsenal working, registering a 38 percent whiff rate and 37 percent CSW. Bello’s changeup was particularly effective on Tuesday, getting 10 whiffs on 21 swings, but he also had a 38 percent whiff rate on his slider which will be a big pitch for him if he wants to take the next step in his development. Overall, it was a strong showing for the 25-year-old, and he’ll now take a 4.18 ERA into a showdown with the Tigers this weekend. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago
    • Improves to 6-2
Bello (6-2) earned the win Tuesday over the Orioles, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: Baltimore got to Bello early Tuesday, scoring three runs in the opening frame, before the right-hander settled in and blanked the Orioles over his subsequent four frames while allowing just one additional hit. It's the fifth win for Bello in his last six starts. His ERA sits at 4.18 through nine outings (47.1 innings) this year with a 1.18 WHIP and 44:15 K:BB. Bello's tentatively in line for a second start this week Sunday at home versus Detroit. Rotowire.com 53 minutes ago
    • Suffers bruised leg
X-rays on Pasquantino's lower left leg came back negative after he collided with Byron Buxton during Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Pasquantino had to come out of the game after taking a knee to the shin in the third inning, but he appears to have escaped the incident with no more than a bruise. The Royals are officially listing the 26-year-old first baseman as day-to-day, though he may sit out a game or two as a precaution. Rotowire.com Today, 6:19 pm

    • X-rays negative on Vinnie Pasquantino’s leg
X-rays came back negative on Vinnie Pasquantino’s left leg.

Advice: Pasquantino is officially day-to-day with a lower left leg contusion. It’s a massive relief for the Royals, and fantasy managers, as the 26-year-old first baseman appears to have avoided serious injury following a collision with Twins center fielder Byron Buxton during Tuesday’s contest in Minnesota. It’s possible he’ll get a couple days off to recover, but is unlikely to require an extended absence. Rotoworld Today, 6:17 pm

    • Exits with apparent injury
Pasquantino was removed from Tuesday's game against the Twins due to an apparent leg injury, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Advice: Pasquantino came up limping after a collision with Byron Buxton, who was attempting to leg out an infield single during the third inning. The Royals will take a closer look at their first baseman in the clubhouse and should offer an update on his status relatively soon. Rotowire.com Today, 5:40 pm

    • Vinnie Pasquantino exits contest with injury
Vinnie Pasquantino left Tuesday’s game against the Twins with an apparent injury.

Advice: Pasquantino appeared to suffer some sort of leg injury when Byron Buxton came into contact with him while attempting to beat out an infield single during the third inning of Tuesday’s showdown at Target Field. There should be an update on his status at some point shortly. Rotoworld Today, 5:38 pm

    • Absent from lineup
Rosario is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Atlanta.

Advice: Left-hander Max Fried is slated to start for Atlanta, so the lefty-batting Rosario will begin this one on the bench. The veteran outfielder hasn't made a single start versus a southpaw this season. Rotowire.com Today, 1:03 pm

    • On bench for matinee
Bader is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 29-year-old has a .281/.361/.391 slash line through 21 games in May and will sit for the first game of Tuesday's twin bill. Tyrone Taylor will instead start in center field, though Bader will likely rejoin the lineup for Game 2. Rotowire.com Today, 9:46 am
