    • Stays hot Tuesday
Keith went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 10-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: While the Tigers struggled as a team, Keith continued to roll. The rookie is batting a robust .441 over his last 10 contests and he's recorded three or more hits in a game three times already this month. Keith came into May batting just .154 but he's pushed that up to .230, and the 22-year-old has a prospect pedigree that suggests he'll be able to sustain this level of play. • Nick Gonzales delivers walk-off hit vs SF
Nick Gonzales went 2-for-5 with a game-winning single in a 7-6 win over the Giants in 10 innings on Tuesday.

Advice: The 24-year-old laced a 98 mph single off Erik Miller to score the game-winning run after David Bednar stranded the inherited runner on second in the top half of the inning. Gonzales is now hitting .282/.310/.462 with nine RBI in 11 games since being called up from Triple-A. Considering he had also made some real strides in his plate discipline at Triple-A and was hitting .358 in 30 games, Gonzales might be worth an add in deeper formats while he’s playing every day in Pittsburgh. • Torres’ three-run homer not enough in Yanks loss
Gleyber Torres went 1-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Torres’ three-run homer in the seventh gave the Yankees their first runs of the evening after they spent the first six innings being stifled by Bryan Woo. Torres’ homer, his third on the season, ended shutout but didn’t prove to be enough for the Yankees, who were held scoreless the rest of the way. Torres is slashing a mere .223/.301/.310 on the season and is hitting .227 in the month of May. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago

    • Dylan Moore homers twice as Mariners down Yankees
Dylan Moore went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Yankees.

Advice: Moore pulled a pitch on the outside black of the plate 402 feet to left field for a two-run homer to give the Mariners a lead in the top of the third. He would later single in the seventh inning to drive in Mitch Garver and homered again in the ninth, accounting for four of the Mariners’ six runs driven in on the afternoon. Moore hasn’t hit for much of an average but has provided solid power and run support at the bottom of the Mariners’ lineup. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago

    • Rehabbing at High-A
The Yankees transferred Vivas' (undisclosed) rehab assignment Tuesday from Single-A Tampa to High-A Hudson Valley.

Advice: Vivas remains on Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's 7-day injured list with an unspecified injury, which has prevented him from playing with the affiliate since April 24. The infielder appears to be closing in on a return to the Triple-A club, however, after going 1-for-11 with three walks and a stolen base across his four rehab appearances with Tampa last week. • Time off after back-to-back games
Diaz (calf) appeared in back-to-back rehab games with Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday before receiving Sunday off.

Advice: Diaz played seven innings at third base in Friday's game against El Paso before walking in his only plate appearance as the designated hitter Saturday. There's been no report of an aggravation of the injury to explain why Diaz was in the game for such a brief time Saturday, and he was then out of the lineup Sunday before the team's off day Monday. The Aviators also saw their scheduled game against Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday postponed due to rain, so Diaz will have had some extra rest if he does return to the lineup for the Aviators on Wednesday. • Playing Tuesday
Ortiz (foot) is batting fifth and playing third base Tuesday against Miami.

Advice: Ortiz was hit in the foot by a pitch during Monday's loss but won't be forced to miss any time after his X-rays came back clean. Since April 26, Ortiz is batting .328 with five home runs as the Brewers' everyday third baseman. Rotowire.com Today, 12:48 pm

    • Cubs recall Luis Vázquez from Triple-A Iowa
Cubs recalled INF Luis Vázquez from Triple-A Iowa.

Advice: As expected, Vázquez is up to provide some infield depth for the Cubs. The 24-year-old hit .270 with three homers and a stolen base over 38 games while with Iowa. There’s no fantasy potential for 2024 with Vázquez. Rotoworld Today, 12:29 pm

    • Recalled to big club
The Cubs recalled Vazquez from Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday.

Advice: Vazquez, 27, has hit .262 with three home runs over 39 games with Iowa this season. He will provide some reinforcement in the infield with Nico Hoerner (hamstring) banged up and would be making his major-league debut if/when he gets into a game. Rotowire.com Today, 12:26 pm
