    • Goes yard for second straight game
Winker went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Monday's win over the Twins.

Advice: He led off the fourth inning by working the count full against Pablo Lopez before crushing a fastball over the fence in center field. Winker has left the yard in back-to-back games and has four hits in his last three contests, but that comes on the heels of an 0-for-21 stretch. On the season, the 30-year-old is slashing .232/.346/.411 with six homers, five steals, 21 RBI and 22 runs in 44 games, but Winker may need to stay hot if he wants to hang onto a significant role in the OF/DH mix with Lane Thomas (knee) closing in on his return and top prospect James Wood (.393/.493/.689 in May for Triple-A Rochester) pounding on the door for a promotion. • Nabs 15th steal
Young went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Twins.

Advice: The 24-year-old center fielder's ability to flip the lineup over from the nine hole was a key part of the Nationals' 12-run eruption Monday. Young has hit safely in five straight games and is up to 15 steals in 17 attempts on the season, but his overall numbers have sagged in May -- he's slashing .208/.304/.271 through 56 plate appearances. • Starting spot in jeopardy
Baty went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Monday's loss to the Guardians, and he's at risk of losing his starting job at third base to Mark Vientos, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Since a two-homer game May 3, Baty is slashing an anemic .125/.186/.150 with a 43.2 percent strikeout rate. Vientos has mainly been used as a short-side platoon option since his most recent promotion, but he's gone 4-for-14 with two doubles in four games. Baty hasn't let his struggles impact his defense, and that might be the only thing keeping him in the starting nine at the moment. With the Mets scrambling to find offense, though, they might decide they can live with Vientos' inferior glove at the hot corner if he can produce at the plate. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago
    • Swipes bag in win
Lopez went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's extra-inning win over the Brewers.

Advice: Making another start at second base, Lopez continued a strong stretch that has seen him slash .306/.350/.528 over the last 11 games with two homers, a steal, four runs and eight RBI. The 25-year-old has been forming an effective double-play duo with Vidal Brujan of late, but with Tim Anderson (back) poised to come off the IL, it's not clear how the Marlins will divvy up playing time at the middle infield spots between the three players. Lopez has played well enough to remain in a significant role, however. Rotowire.com 46 minutes ago

    • Report: Ji-Hwan Bae to be called up Tuesday
Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports that the Pirates are recalling Ji-Hwan Bae from Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: Bae played well after being activated off the injured list and heading to Indianapolis with a .376 average and seven stolen bases to show for it. The 24-year-old can play all over the field and offers the ability to swipe bags with his speed, but isn’t likely to be a significant fantasy contributor in any other category. • Set to be recalled
Bae will be recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis prior to the Pirates' game against the Giants on Tuesday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: There's no word yet on what the corresponding roster move will be. Bae has slashed .367/.479/.551 with four home runs and seven stolen bases over 27 games with Indianapolis this season. The 24-year-old has played center field, second base and left field with Indianapolis and should bounce around to multiple positions in Pittsburgh. Rotowire.com Today, 6:37 am

    • Three hits in nightcap
D'Arnaud went 3-for-4 with an RBI in the second game of Monday's doubleheader split with the Padres.

Advice: The veteran catcher sat out Sunday's game and Monday's matinee after taking a foul tip off his facemask Friday, but d'Arnaud cleared the concussion protocol and looked none the worse for wear in his return to the lineup. He's slashing .274/.350/.509 through 120 plate appearances this season with five homers and 17 RBI, but with Sean Murphy (oblique) expected to begin a rehab assignment this week, d'Arnaud's stint as Atlanta's No. 1 backstop could come to a close by the end of the month. • Starting rehab assignment
Walls (hip) was assigned to the Florida Complex League Rays on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment.

Advice: Walls had to be shut down for a while after developing inflammation in his surgically repaired right hip, but he's progressed to the point that he's ready to try things out in a game setting. The infielder will eventually move up to a higher affiliate but figures to be looking at a lengthy rehab assignment since he'll basically be going through spring training. Walls is probably looking at a utility infielder role with the Rays when he returns. Rotowire.com Today, 6:25 am

    • Steals, scores in win
Hamilton started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 5-0 win over Tampa.

Advice: Hamilton made his fourth start in the last six games and has hit safely in five straight. Once a forgotten man on the roster -- he started just 12 times and had 50 plate appearances over 35 games after being called up April 6 -- Hamilton is 6-for-15 with four extra-base hits with three runs and three RBI during the hit streak. Vaughn Grissom (.135) has yet to establish himself as the everyday second baseman, so there is an opportunity for Hamilton to become fantasy relevant. Rotowire.com Today, 3:53 am
