    • Notches 15th save
Doval struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 15th save of the season in a 5-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: The 26-year-old right-hander was in peak form, whiffing Adam Duvall with a 100.6 mph cutter to end the game. Doval blew his last save chance Friday though, and consistency has been an issue for him all year -- through 33.2 innings, he's posted a 4.28 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB, a significant step backwards from his ratios the prior two seasons. • Collects third win
Littell (3-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Royals, throwing five shutout innings while giving up four hits and striking out four batters.

Advice: Littell was remarkably efficient Tuesday, needing only 68 pitches to get through five innings. Had it not been for a two-plus-hour rain delay, the 28-year-old righty almost certainly would have made it deeper into the game. Nonetheless, Tampa Bay's offense provided just enough run support before his removal for him to record his first win since May 11. Littell will now carry a 3.94 ERA and 1.32 WHIP into his next start against the Rangers over the weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 12:35 am
    • Keeps tumbling
Gil (9-4) took the loss Tuesday against Cincinnati, allowing four runs on two hits and three walks across four innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Gil surrendered at least four runs for a third straight start, something he'd done just once in his first 13 outings, continuing an unexpected freefall after an outstanding start to 2024. He was pulled after hitting a pair of batters and allowing a two-run home run to Will Benson in the fifth inning without recording an out. While Gil still owns a 3.41 ERA and a 102:48 K:BB across 89.2 innings, fantasy managers should proceed with caution, especially with a matchup against the Red Sox on the docket for Sunday. • Zach Littell defeats Royals to earn third victory
Zach Littell picked up his third victory of the season on Tuesday evening, scattering four hits over five shutout innings against the Royals.

Advice: Littell punched out four batters on the night and didn’t walk a batter. He needed just 68 pitches (49 strikes) to get through five frames — and he would’ve likely worked deeper into the game had it not been for a lengthy rain delay after the fifth inning. The 28-year-old righty got eight whiffs on the night, registering a strong CSW of 34 percent. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he brings a 3.94 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and an 86/16 K/BB ratio (91 1/3 innings) into Sunday’s matchup against the Rangers in Arlington. • Anthony Santander propels Orioles past Mariners
Anthony Santander went 2-for-4 and drove in a run on Tuesday evening, leading the Orioles to a 2-0 victory over the Mariners in Seattle.

Advice: Santander broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning as he smacked an RBI single into right field off of George Kirby in the fourth inning that plated Gunnar Henderson. The 29-year-old outfielder also led off the second inning with a single, but he was ultimately erased on a double play. With his two-hit attack, Santander is now hitting .234/.302/.503 with 22 homers and 56 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:32 pm
    • Fills stat sheet in loss
Robert went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and a stolen base in a 7-6 loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Robert hit a two-run home run in the sixth inning and added a two-run single and stolen base in the seventh. The outfielder has tallied seven hits and three home runs during a modest five-game hit streak and has hit safely in eight of his past ten contests. On the season, he is hitting a disappointing .215 but does have 10 home runs and four steals over 133 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:11 pm
    • Strikes out eight in win
Gibson (6-3) earned the win against the Pirates on Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over five innings.

Advice: Gibson was cruising early, striking out the side in each of the second and fourth innings, but he allowed four runs on two homers in the fifth. He bounced back with his control after walking five batters in his most recent start Wednesday, but he was pulled after a season-low 79 pitches and has surrendered four earned runs in back-to-back outings. On the season, the veteran owns a 3.88 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 85:37 K:BB over 92.2 innings and lines up for a road matchup against the Nationals this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 pm
    • Doval picks up 15th save in win over Braves
Camilo Doval pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out two in Tuesday’s win over the Braves.

Advice: Doval now has 14 saves on the season and has allowed just one run since his four-run implosion against the Angels back in mid-June. The veteran closer continues to be a reliable closer out of the bullpen, and he has hopefully put a tough June behind him. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:29 pm
    • Luis Gil’s struggles continue in loss
Luis Gil allowed four runs on two hits in four innings in a loss to the Reds on Tuesday.

Advice: The command simply wasn’t there for Gil on Tuesday, walking three and striking out three while throwing 83 pitches in just four innings. There has been some concern that Gil is hitting a bit of a wall after allowing 16 earned runs in his last 9 2/3 innings. The Yankees maintain confidence in the 26-year-old, but he left a lot of sliders up in the zone today and struggled to command his changeup, so perhaps he is getting a little tired in his breakout season.
