    Bobby WItt Jr. went 3-for-5 with an RBI triple to help the Royals to a 10-9 win over the Mariners on Friday.

    Advice: Superstar gonna superstar. With the Royals trailing 9-8, Witt Jr. spanked a triple down the left-field line to score the tying run, and he scored on a fielder’s choice to give Kansas City the win in a game they trailed 7-0 after the top half of the first inning.     CJ Abrams went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base against the Braves on Friday.

    Advice: Abrams’ steal was his ninth of the season. After racking up 47 steals last year, fantasy managers sure would like to see him run more this year.     Christian Yelich went 3-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base against the Tigers on Friday.

    The Astros announced that Cristian Javier underwent successful Tommy John surgery on Thursday.

    Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a walk in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Royals.

    Advice: Ramirez entered Thursday with no homers over his last five games, matching his longest drought since he went eight contests from April 26 to May 4 without a long ball. The third baseman upped his power in late May and is now at 17 homers this season, with eight of them coming since May 17. The shortstop came into the contest having gone 1-for-21 over his previous seven games and recently missed time due to a shoulder issue, so the long ball was a much-needed positive development.
