      Advice: Abreu was placed on the 10-day injured list with his ankle sprain prior to Tuesday’s game. The outfielder told reporters that an MRI revealed a good deal of inflammation, but no structural damage.       Abreu (right ankle sprain) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to June 3, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

      Advice: Abreu will be sidelined for a little over a week after spraining his ankle in the Red Sox's dugout Sunday. Per Alex Speier of The Boston Globe, Abreu is hoping to return after the minimum 10 days.       Advice: Abreu twisted his right ankle in the dugout during Sunday's game and the injury seems to be severe enough to warrant a significant absence, although exactly how long Abreu will be out remains to be seen.       Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Hitting leadoff against Washington lefty MacKenzie Gore, Lindor got right back up after seeing an 11-game hitting streak snapped Sunday. The veteran shortstop has swiped three bags over the last five contests, giving him nine steals on the season, and over his last 15 games, he's slashing .339/.397/.516 with five doubles, two homers, seven runs and eight RBI as he puts a sluggish start to the season behind him.       Skubal did not factor into the decision in Monday's 2-1 win over the Rangers, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

      Advice: Skubal surrendered a leadoff home run to Marcus Semien in the first inning but held the Rangers in check over the next five and left the mound in a 1-1 tie. Skubal allowed at least one baserunner in each inning, but he was still able to earn a quality start despite not having his best stuff. Through 12 starts, Skubal, who has not walked more than two batters in any game this season, has posted a sparkling 1.97 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 86:13 K:BB and tentatively lines up for a home matchup against the Brewers on Sunday.       Advice: Skubal gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out six. He managed to earn a quality start for the ninth time in 12 starts this season. Skubal allowed a leadoff home run to Marcus Semien, but that was the only run the Rangers could muster against him. His ERA is now 1.97 as he continues to push for the AL Cy Young award.
