    • Wins third straight
Ober (3-1) earned the win Wednesday over the White Sox, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out three over six innings.

Advice: After allowing two runs in the opening frame, Ober settled in to hold Chicago to just two more runs over his final five innings en route to a third consecutive winning decision. The four runs were the most Ober's allowed since he was tagged for eight runs in his first start of the year against Kansas City -- he'd held opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his subsequent four outings. Overall, the 28-year-old right-hander sports a 4.55 ERA with a 1.04 WHIP and 28:7 K:BB through 31.2 innings this season. Ober's currently slated for a home matchup with the Mariners in his next turn. • Bailey Ober gives up four runs, wins anyway
Bailey Ober won despite allowing four runs in six innings Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: It’s Ober’s worst start since he gave up eight runs on March 31, but still not too shabby. He’s sporting a 3-1 record, a 4.55 ERA and an excellent 1.04 WHIP. Next up is a home start versus the Mariners. Rotoworld Today, 2:27 pm

    • Throws bullpen session
Bello (lat) threw a bullpen session Tuesday, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: It's his first time throwing off a mound since he was shut down last week with right lat tightness. Bello could throw a two-inning simulated game next, with a rehab outing potentially being on the docket for next Tuesday. If Bello needs just one rehab start, he could be in line to return from the 15-day injured list as soon as May 12. Rotowire.com Today, 1:39 pm

    • Brayan Bello (lat) to make rehab start next week
Red Sox’ skipper Alex Cora told reporters on Wednesday that Brayan Bello (lat) will make a minor league rehab start early next week.

Advice: There had been some hope that Bello could jump right back into the Red Sox’ rotation without requiring a tune-up on the minor league side, but he’ll toe the slab at least once at Triple-A Worcester before making his triumphant return. Bello has been shelved since April 21 due to tightness in his right lat. Rotoworld Today, 1:25 pm

    • AJ Minter allows walk-off homer to blow save
AJ Minter blew a save by allowing two runs without recording an out Monday against Seattle while picking up a loss.

Advice: Minter was handed a one-run lead, and the southpaw allowed a base hit to Jorge Polanco before Mitch Garver took the southpaw deep on a 3-2 pitch to give Seattle the win. Minter has been an excellent high-leverage option for Atlanta, but this one will hurt fantasy managers who have the 30-year-old on the roster. Rotoworld Monday, 9:15 pm

    • Nabs fifth win
Minter (5-1) picked up the win in Sunday's victory over the Guardians, giving up one hit in a scoreless 10th inning.

Advice: The 30-year-old southpaw has already tied his career high in wins, needing only 14 appearances to do it -- he had five wins in 75 appearances in 2022. Minter has been brilliant in his high-leverage role to begin the season, posting a 1.32 ERA, 0.59 WHIP and 15:1 K:BB through 13.2 innings while adding three holds to his ledger. • Stumbles again Sunday
Detmers (3-2) yielded five runs on nine hits over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Twins.

Advice: Detmers fired three perfect innings before the Twins broke the scoreless tie in the fourth inning. He ran into more trouble in the fifth, coughing up four runs on five hits. After an incredible start to his season in which he produced a 30:7 K:BB and 1.19 ERA through four starts, Detmers has taken two straight losses, yielding nine runs in 12 innings. His ERA climbed to 3.12, but he still owns a strong 37:10 K:BB through 34.2 frames. Detmers is projected for a road start in Cleveland next weekend. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:00 pm

    • Reid Detmers gives up five runs in loss to Twins
Reid Detmers struggled in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Twins, giving up five runs on nine hits over his five frames.

Advice: The 24-year-old hurler struck out three batters on the afternoon and didn’t walk a batter. He kept the Twins off the board through the first three innings, but they broke through in the fourth on an RBI single by Jose Miranda. They tacked on an additional four runs in the fifth inning — keyed by a two-run single off the bat of Austin Martin. Detmers got nine swings and misses on 87 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 33 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he brings a 3.12 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and a 37/10 K/BB ratio (34 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s tilt against the Guardians in Cleveland. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:02 pm

    • Pitches into ninth versus Tampa Bay
Fedde (2-0) earned the win after he pitched 8.1 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out nine batters in Sunday's 4-2 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Fedde tossed three scoreless innings before he surrendered a solo homer to Isaac Paredes in the top of the fourth frame. He later allowed another run in the top of the ninth when attempting to finish off the complete game, exiting with a runner on second and one out in the final inning. The 31-year-old has now recorded back-to-back quality starts while he's given up just three total runs over 22 innings in his last three outings. Fedde will carry a 2.60 ERA into his next projected start Friday in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:23 pm
