    • James Paxton stifles Braves in win on Sunday
      James Paxton allowed one run on five hits in 6 2/3 innings in a win over the Braves on Sunday.

      Advice: Paxton struck out three and walked two on the day with the only damage allowed being a solo home run to Marcell Ozuna in the seventh inning. He had just a 15 percent whiff rate and 17 percent CSW, so it certainly wasn’t a dominant performance, but he pounded the zone and kept the Braves off-balance. He has a solid 3.06 ERA on the season, but will be tough to trust against the Padres next weekend outside of the deepest formats. Rotoworld Today, 5:15 pm
       
    • Josh Hader yields go-ahead homer in ninth
      Josh Hader lost after giving up a go-ahead homer in a tie game Sunday against the Mariners.

      Advice: It’s the save situations in which Hader has struggled, but the loss today came after he was asked to preserve a tie. Cal Raleigh’s homer was the second surrendered by Hader in 14 2/3 innings this year.       Rodriguez (shoulder) played catch from 60-to-75 feet Sunday, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

      Advice: Rodriguez landed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation following his April 29 start against the Yankees, and he ended up being shut down from throwing for only a few days. The right-hander could soon ramp up to bullpen sessions, and it remains to be seen if he'll require a minor-league rehab assignment before rejoining Baltimore's rotation.       Advice: Julien had a great stretch towards the end of last month to push his OPS up to .890, but he’s back down to .795 now after going 1-for-18 with 11 strikeouts in his last seven games. He does have six walks during that span, but he hasn’t scored a single run.       Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) was able to throw off flat ground Sunday.

      Advice: Orioles pitching coach Drew French told reporters that Rodriguez threw from 60-75 foot away and that it was a “good day” for him. The right-hander has been on the shelf since May 1 with shoulder inflammation, and while there’s no timetable for his return, it’s certainly a positive development that he’s able to throw a few days later.
