      Advice: Stott found a way to get on base in each of his plate appearances Sunday while also swiping two bags in the loss. He has now recorded 10 stolen bases on the season while only getting caught once. Stott has now recorded at least one hit in eight out of his last nine contests, batting .414 with four extra-base hits, nine RBI, nine runs scored and five stolen bases over that stretch.       Austin Riley was removed from Sunday night’s battle against the Mets in the fifth inning due to tightness in his left side.

      Advice: The Braves are calling his exit precautionary, but there’s still cause for concern. It’s unlikely that the club will have any additional updates until Monday. Fantasy managers should be sure to have a contingency plan in place for next week in the event that Riley is forced to miss a couple of games.       Advice: Riley's removal from the contest has been described as precautionary according to Atlanta, finishing his night 1-for-2 with a single and a strikeout.       Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

      Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns a rather impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals.       Corbin Carroll went 2-for-5 with a double in a 9-2 win over the Orioles on Sunday.

      Advice: The effort put Carroll over the Mendoza Line on the season, as the 23-year-old is now hitting .201/.287/.266. Perhaps more encouraging, both of Carroll’s hits left the bat at over 100 mph. There are still real concerns about his ability to lift and drive the ball, and his home run projections all feel a bit high, but it’s nice to see him making authoritative contact.       Advice: Neither of Stott’s hits were hit particularly hard, but he didn’t record a single out in five trips to the plate so nobody is mad about that.       Zack Wheeler allowed six runs on six hits in four innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday.

      Advice: Wheeler allowed seven hard-hit balls in just four innings of work, including a three-run homer to Josh Bell. He posted just a 12 percent whiff rate and 15 percent CSW and was only able to land his sinker in the strike zone 32 percent of the time.       Advice: Gurriel singled in the Diamondbacks' final run in the fifth inning. An earlier double extended a hit streak to four games, during which he's gone 6-for-18.
