  • Alex Bregman collects three hits against White Sox
Alex Bregman went 3-for-5 in a win over the White Sox on Thursday.

Advice: All three hits for Bregman were singles. He also scored a run, and continues to look considerably better at the plate in the month of June. The 30-year-old entered the month with a .662 OPS, but he’s hit .322/.394/.492 since. That’ll play. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:04 pm
  • Plates pair in Wednesday's win
Rooker went 2-for-3 with two RBI singles and a walk in a win over the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Rooker's timely hitting led to two of the Athletics' five runs, with the veteran driving home JJ Bleday in the third and seventh innings with his pair of singles. Rooker has now hit safely in eight of his last 10 games, but a 42.9 percent strikeout rate has helped lead to a lackluster .211/.262/.368 slash line in that same span. Rotowire.com Thursday, 8:47 am

  • Sitting against southpaw
Rojas is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: With lefty Logan Allen on the hill for Cleveland, Rojas and fellow left-handed-hitting regulars Dominic Canzone and Luke Raley will retreat to the bench. Dylan Moore will move over from his usual spot at second base to cover the hot corner in Rojas' stead. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:53 am

  • Could be activated June 24
Contreras (forearm) could be activated from the 10-day injured list as soon as next Monday, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Contreras will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday and might require less than a week of rehab games before rejoining the Cardinals lineup. Woo cautions that the catcher's timeline for rejoining the big club remains tentative, and a firmer return date may not come into focus until Contreras gets a few rehab games under his belt.
