• Hits seventh homer
Soto went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk during Friday's loss against the Brewers.

Advice: Soto went deep against Colin Rea in the first inning to put the Yankees ahead early, but he was unable to score the other two times he reached base Friday, as the Yankees fell short in extra innings. The 25-year-old outfielder has now homered twice in his last three contests and has driven in 23 RBI in just 27 games -- further proof that he is one of the most lethal hitters in the big leagues. • Juan Soto homers and walks in extra-inning loss
Juan Soto homered and walked in an extra-inning loss Friday to the Brewers.

Advice: Juan Soto homers and walks a lot. He took Colin Rea deep in the first for his seventh roundtripper of the campaign, and he’s now driven in 23 runs in just 26 games. Simply put, Soto is one of the best hitters in the sport — obvious point is obvious — and there’s plenty of reason to expect these kind of numbers to continue. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:29 pm

  • Juan Soto wallops sixth homer in win over A’s
Juan Soto swatted a solo homer on Wednesday in the Yankees’ win over the Athletics.

Advice: Soto connected for a towering 416-foot blast to left-center field off Athletics reliever Danny Jiménez in the sixth inning to extend the Yankees’ lead to a commanding three-run margin at the time. It was his sixth round-tripper of the year. It was the first time he’s gone deep in five games since April 19. The 25-year-old generational talent holds a robust .319/.431/.564 triple-slash line with 17 runs scored, six homers, 22 RBI and one steal across 116 plate appearances in his Yankees debut. • Heating up at plate
Buxton went 3-for-4 with a double and a game-tying home run in the ninth inning in Tuesday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton has started to heat up, as he's hitting .333 (9-for-27) with four doubles, a triple and home run over his last seven games. More importantly, he's healthy and playing regularly in center field. He's getting a day at DH and and a day of rest each week, but he's otherwise playing without restrictions. • Buxton hits first homer of season in win over CWS
Byron Buxton went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, and one RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton’s first homer of the season couldn’t have come at a better time. Trailing 5-4 to kick off the ninth inning, Buxton sent a 377-foot shot off Steven Wilson into left field to tie the game. A walk by Carlos Santana, followed by a double from Ryan Jeffers, set up Alex Kirilloff for the game-winning single, giving the Twins their second win in as many days. Buxton struggled out of the gate to start the season but has now hit safely in four-straight games and appears to be rounding into form. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:45 pm

  • Gets day off
Buxton is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Buxton will head to the bench for the series opener in what looks to be a rest day after he had started in center field or at designated hitter in each of the Twins' last six games. Austin Martin will handle duties in center field Monday, while Carlos Santana gets a day out of the field and serves as Minnesota's DH. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:55 am

  • Three doubles in win
Santander went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 9-7 win over the Royals.

Advice: This was Santander's first three-hit game of the season and just his fourth multi-hit effort. The outfielder is starting to warm up, going 7-for-15 (.467) over his last four contests following a three-game slump. Overall, Santander is slashing .237/.289/.474 with four home runs, 17 RBI, 10 runs scored and six doubles over 19 contests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:27 am

  • Anthony Santander picks up three hits, two RBI
Anthony Santander went 3-for-5 and drove in two runs in a victory for the Orioles on Saturday over the Royals.

Advice: Santander doubled twice in this contest, and both scored runs. The 29-year-old scuffled out of the game, but a four-game hitting streak has seen his average increase from .180 to .237 in that timeframe. Santander should be a solid — if a bit streaky — fantasy option again in 2024. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:21 pm
