  • Corey Seager homers in loss to Phillies
    Corey Seager went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in a loss to the Phillies on Tuesday.

    Advice: Seager crushed an offering from Jeff Hoffman 103.3 mph off the bat and 380 feet for his seventh home run of the year. It was also his 5th home run in 18 games in May as the power is starting to show up. However, Seager also had four strike outs on Tuesday and is still hitting just .246/.335/.383 on the season.   • Christian Yelich delivers go-ahead hit vs. Marlins
    Christian Yelich delivered a go-ahead two-run triple in the eighth inning on Tuesday, lifting the Brewers to a 7-5 win over the Marlins.

    Advice: Yelich came through in the clutch against his former organization by victimizing Marlins lefty A.J. Puk with a two-out triple to right field that put Milwaukee ahead for good in a back-and-forth slugfest.   • Elly De La Cruz has game’s only RBI in win
    Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in a win over the Padres on Tuesday.

    Advice: The double accounted for the only RBI of the game, but it wasn’t particularly well hit at just 86 mph off the bat. It was just one of those nights where neither offense seemed to get anything going. The bigger news for De La Cruz was that he didn’t strike out on Tuesday after going 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts in the final three games of the Dodgers’ series. Rotoworld 33 minutes ago

  • Yasmani Grandal leaves game with groin discomfort
    Yasmani Grandal was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Giants with left groin discomfort.

    José Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Mets on Tuesday.

    Advice: Ramirez’s home run was a 380-foot shot off Adrian Houser at 101.5 mph off the bat for his 12th big fly of the season. He also added a two-out RBI double to give him 44 RBI on the season. The batting average may not be what fantasy managers are hoping for, but Ramirez is hitting the ball well and should be back to something resembling his usual triple slash in no time.   • Turner accounts for one of two Blue Jays’ hits
    Justin Turner went 1-for-3 with a double in the Blue Jays’ loss to the White Sox.

    Advice: Turner ended a seven-game hitless streak in this one, but he and the Jays struggled to get the offense going. Toronto managed just two hits and a walk on the evening while striking out nine times as a team. Turner, who hit .300 through the first month of the season, is hitting a dismal .085 in the month of May, going 4-for-47 at the plate.   • Mark Vientos has two hits, HR in loss to Guardians
    Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

    Advice: Vientos got a rare start against a right-handed pitcher and delivered a double and a home run on the night. The home run was admittedly on a hanging breaking ball that just sat at the top of the zone, but Vientos still crushed it 430 feet at 111 mph off the bat. He followed that up in the next inning with a 106.5 mph double, which gave him the two hardest-hit balls of the night. With Brett Baty struggling, there’s a chance that Vientos will have an opportunity to claim the starting third base role in New York, so he deserves to be added while he’s swinging the bat like this.     Advice: Ramirez extended Cleveland's lead to 3-0 in the third inning with a two-out double before cranking a two-run homer off Adrian Houser in the fifth, his 12th of the year. The 31-year-old Ramirez has gone 12-for-32 (.375) with three home runs and 13 RBI in his last eight contests.   • Corey Julks tallies one steal, two RBI vs. Jays
    Corey Julks went 1-for-3 with two RBI and a steal in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Julks laced a two-RBI single in the fifth inning off Yusei Kikuchi to give the White Sox a 3-0 lead, and has now hit safely in three of his first four games this season. Julks was called up from Triple-A Charlotte last week after the White Sox acquired him in a trade just days before.
