      Mark Canha went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles as the Tigers were shut out by the Royals on Friday afternoon at Comerica Park.

      Advice: As a team, the Tigers tallied just five total hits in the ballgame, with Canha the only player to have more than one. The 35-year-old outfielder is actually off to a nice start in his first season with the Tigers, slashing .271/.398/.518 with five homers, 14 RBI and a stolen base through his first 25 games.       Advice: Freeman has flown a bit under the radar with Mookie Betts and Shohei Ohtani justifiably stealing the early-season spotlight. However, his latest multi-hit performance puts his batting average back above the .300 mark for the first time this season.
