      Luis Rengifo finished 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI versus the Phillies in Tuesday’s loss.

      Advice: New Angels manager Ron Washington made it very clear early on that he wasn’t a Rengifo fan, but at this point, it’s hard to justify not batting him first. He was in the fifth spot tonight. but he has about 60 points of OBP on leadoff man Nolan Schanuel, and he’s definitely the more effective baserunner of those two.       Luis Rengifo swatted his first home run of the season on Sunday afternoon as the Angels fell to the Twins.

      Advice: The versatile 27-year-old tagged Twins’ right-hander Pablo Lopez for his 372-foot (95.7 mph EV) two-run shot in the fifth inning. He was also hit by a pitch in the seventh inning and scored on an RBI single off the bat of Mike Trout.       Jose Altuve went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and three runs scored as the Astros topped the Rockies 8-2 in Mexico City on Sunday.

      Advice: Altuve’s homer projected at 438 feet, his longest blast since Oct. 7, 2020. He hadn’t hit a ball farther than 404 feet this season, though that hadn’t stopped him from amassing six homers coming into the day. He’s batting .342/.414/.596 in 128 plate appearances.
