    • Fans nine in win over M's
Sale (4-1) picked up the win Wednesday in a 5-2 victory over the Mariners, allowing one run on six hits over five innings. He struck out nine without walking a batter.

Advice: The veteran lefty wasn't exactly efficient, needing 100 pitches to record 15 outs, but Sale generated an eye-popping 21 swinging strikes in another dominant performance. The nine Ks were a season high, and Sale has given up three runs or less in five of his six starts to begin his Atlanta tenure. He'll take a 3.44 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 42:7 K:BB through 36.2 innings into his next outing, which lines up for a home start next week against the former club, the Red Sox. • Chris Sale posts nine strikeouts in win over M’s
Chris Sale recorded a season-high nine strikeouts and allowed one run over five innings on Wednesday in a win over the Mariners.

Advice: Sale authored arguably his strongest performance of his Braves debut so far, generating an eye-popping 21 swinging strikes, and finishing with an elite 39 percent CSW. A run-scoring single from Jorge Polanco with two outs in the fifth inning represented the lone tally against him in this one. The oft-injured 35-year-old veteran southpaw has looked rejuvenated since arriving in Atlanta, allowing three earned runs or fewer in five of six starts to open the year. He’ll carry a strong 3.44 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 42/7 K/BB ratio across 36 2/3 innings (six starts) into a home outing next Wednesday against his former team, the suddenly resurgent Red Sox. • Locks down quality start
Anderson didn't factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings against Philadelphia. He struck out six.

Advice: Anderson secured his fourth quality start of the campaign Tuesday and logged at least six K's for a second consecutive outing. All of the damage against Anderson came in the second inning when Kyle Schwarber launched a three-run homer. Although Anderson has surrendered five home runs in his last four starts, he still owns a solid 3.63 ERA with 19 strikeouts during that stretch. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:13 pm
    • Another quality start
Ryan didn't factor into the decision Monday, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk across six innings against the White Sox. He struck out three.

Advice: Although Ryan tallied his lowest strikeout total of the campaign, he cashed in on his fourth quality start of his last five appearances. After yielding a pair of home runs to the White Sox in his last start, Ryan limited the team to just one extra-base hit on the day. He owns a 1.3 BB/9 through 34.2 innings in 2024, another improvement after posting a 2.9 BB/9 in 2022 and a 1.9 BB/9 in 2023. Ryan is tentatively scheduled for a start against the Sox of Boston on Sunday. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:35 pm

    • Shuts down Cubs
Severino didn't factor into the decision Monday, allowing one run on one hit and two walks over eight innings against the Cubs. He struck out five.

Advice: Severino was locked into a pitchers duel with Jameson Taillon, as the pair of starters each went deeper than seven innings while allowing just one run. Individually, Severino took a no-hitter into the eighth. However, Severino's efforts were for naught as Edwin Diaz surrendered a pair of runs in the ninth inning, leading to the Cubs' win. After posting a career-worst 6.65 ERA across 89.1 innings in 2023, Severino boasts a 2.31 ERA through 35.0 innings in his first season with the Metropolitans. He's lined up to face the Rays on Saturday. Rotowire.com Monday, 9:39 pm
    • Joe Ryan allows two runs Monday in no-decision
Joe Ryan gave up two runs over six innings on Monday in a no-decision against the White Sox.

Advice: Ryan didn’t exactly capitalize on his second straight extremely favorable matchup against Chicago’s struggling lineup, finishing with three strikeouts and only issuing one walk. He finished with only nine swinging strikes and a disastrous 21 percent CSW. The 27-year-old righty has been on a roll, allowing three earned runs or fewer in six consecutive starts to open the 2024 campaign. He’ll carry a strong 3.38 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 41/5 K/BB ratio across 34 2/3 innings (six starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Red Sox at Target Field. Rotoworld Monday, 8:02 pm

    • Turns in scoreless outing
Pepiot (3-2) yielded two hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot was nearly untouchable Monday, allowing just one Brewer to reach scoring position. At one point, he retired 14 consecutive batters. He's produced three straight quality starts and four in his six appearances this year. Over his last outings, Pepiot has given up just two runs with an 18:5 K:BB through 18 innings. He'll carry a 3.12 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be at home against the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:34 pm

    • Ryan Pepiot throws six scoreless innings in win
Ryan Pepiot went six scoreless innings and punched out seven batters in Monday’s 1-0 win against the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot has now made it through six innings in three straight starts. After allowing four or more earned runs in two of his first three starts this season, the 26-year-old has found his rhythm and hasn’t allowed more than one run in his last three outings. Opponents are now batting .168 against the right-hander and he now has 38 strikeouts through his first six starts. He’s a must start in all fantasy formats and will look to continue a solid 2024 campaign against the Mets. Rotoworld Monday, 7:12 pm

    • Luis Severino takes no-hit bid into eighth vs Cubs
Luis Severino allowed one run over eight innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: Severino kept a no-hit bid alive into the eighth inning before finally surrendering a line-drive single to Dansby Swanson following a leadoff walk to Michael Busch. An RBI ground out from Nick Madrigal later in the frame represented the lone tally against him over eight masterful frames. He tallied five strikeouts and only issued two walks. He wasn’t overpowering in this one, generating 13 swinging strikes and finishing with a pedestrian 28 percent CSW, but allowed just six batted balls with an exit velocity over 95 mph. The 30-year-old righty has been excellent in his Mets debut, allowing three earned runs or fewer in six consecutive outings to open the year. He’ll bring a pristine 2.31 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 31/11 K/BB ratio across 35 innings (six starts) into a road tilt on Saturday against the Rays. Rotoworld Monday, 6:26 pm
