    • Raley has three-hit game Monday
Luke Raley went 3-for-4 with a run scored against the Yankees on Monday.

Advice: Raley continues to produce as his average is up to .311 after the three hits on Monday. The Mariners certainly value him after trading for him in the offseason. Raley will continue to see regular playing time against right-handed pitching. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

    • Jacob Young plates two, steals base in victory
Jacob Young went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and also stole a base on Monday in the Nationals’ lopsided win over the Twins.

Advice: Young has come out of nowhere to make an impact for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues with an astounding 15 stolen bases in just 129 plate appearances over 37 contests. The 24-year-old speedster doesn’t offer any over-the-fence pop, but the steals are enough to give him some relevance moving forward. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

    • Three-hit effort in loss
Raley went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Raley accomplished the rare feat of generating a three-hit tally against Orioles starter Corbin Burnes, who was otherwise mostly dominant while recording 11 strikeouts across six frames. Raley now has three multi-hit efforts during his current six-game hitting streak, a stretch in which he's posted a .458 average (11-for-24) with Sunday's pair of two-baggers, two home runs, five RBI and two steals across 24 plate appearances. • Nearing game action
Robert (hip) is still awaiting his first action at the team's complex in Glendale, Ariz., Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "We anticipate some game action later this week,'' general manager Chris Getz said. "He seems to have turned the corner and is trending well."

Advice: There was some hope that Robert would get into games in Arizona last week, but the White Sox decided not to push it. Robert missed more than three months with a similar injury in 2021, so it makes sense that the organization would take a cautious approach. While he remains without a definitive timetable to return to the majors, Robert seems to be progressing well, though at a deliberate pace. Rotowire.com Today, 5:35 am

    • Young on the bench Friday
Jacob Young is on the bench for the Nationals against the Phillies on Friday.

Advice: Young was in the leadoff spot when the Nationals last played on Wednesday. He’s hitting .262 with no home runs this year, but he also has 14 stolen bases in 34 games. Rotoworld Friday, 12:36 pm

    • Not in Friday's lineup
Young is absent from the lineup for Friday's game in Philadelphia.

Advice: Young had started eight of the last nine contests, including six of them from the leadoff spot. He'll get a breather Friday though, as Victor Robles patrols center field for the Nationals. Rotowire.com Friday, 12:16 pm

    • Records third steal Wednesday
Raley went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a win over the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: Raley delivered a timely single in the eighth inning that plated pinch runner Leonardo Rivas, extending the Mariners' lead back to two runs after Bobby Witt had brought the Royals within one in the top half of the frame. Raley's multi-hit effort was an extension of a torrid stretch at the plate for the offseason addition, one that's seen him generate a .435 average and 1.219 OPS over the last seven games. • Pilfers 14th bag
Young went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Getting another start in the leadoff spot, Young swiped his 14th bag of the season, tying him for fifth in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (26), Jose Caballero (17), Brice Turang (16) and Bobby Witt (15). Young only has two successful steals through 12 games in May though, as his issues getting on base consistently are catching up to him -- he's slashing only .167/.295/.222 on the month. The Nationals have been shut out in back-to-back games and sit in the bottom six in runs scored and team OPS on the season, and unless Young heats up at the plate, his time at the top of the order is likely about to end. • Pops third homer
Raley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Raley continues to profile as one of the inconsistent Mariners' more reliable hitters after a slow start to his team tenure, with Tuesday's homer his second in as many games. Raley's season average and OPS are up to a solid .265 and .729, respectively, and he sports a .357/.419/.714 slash line over the 31 plate appearances encompassing his last nine games.
