    • Freddie Freeman delivers grand slam in victory
Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 and hit a grand slam Monday as the Dodgers down the Diamondbacks 6-4.

Advice: The Dodgers scored all of their runs in the third, an inning that also featured homers from Kiké Hernandez and Will Smith. Freeman’s slam was the sixth of his career. He actually went his first 10 seasons without one, but he’s been playing catchup after finally collecting his first in Sept. 2020. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    • Drives in three runs
Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Monday's loss to Seattle.

Advice: Verdugo opened the scoring with a two-run double in the first inning and later knocked an RBI single. After posting an .804 OPS in his first 29 games, he's struggled in 17 games this month, going 15-for-64 (.234) with five extra-base hits. Overall, he's now slashing .255/.328/.406 with five home runs, 10 doubles, 24 RBI and a 19:20 BB:K through 46 games. Rotowire.com Today, 8:15 pm

    • Raley has three-hit game Monday
Luke Raley went 3-for-4 with a run scored against the Yankees on Monday.

Advice: Raley continues to produce as his average is up to .311 after the three hits on Monday. The Mariners certainly value him after trading for him in the offseason. Raley will continue to see regular playing time against right-handed pitching. Rotoworld Today, 6:59 pm

    • Verdugo has three hits and three RBI on Monday
Alex Verdugo went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI against the Mariners on Monday.

Advice: Verdugo’s career-high in home runs is just 13, but he has a nice spot in the middle of the Yankees’ order as the clean-up hitter against right-handed starting pitchers. Verdugo has 22 runs scored and 24 RBI in 46 games this season.

    • Jacob Young plates two, steals base in victory
Jacob Young went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and also stole a base on Monday in the Nationals’ lopsided win over the Twins.

Advice: Young has come out of nowhere to make an impact for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues with an astounding 15 stolen bases in just 129 plate appearances over 37 contests. The 24-year-old speedster doesn’t offer any over-the-fence pop, but the steals are enough to give him some relevance moving forward. Rotoworld Today, 6:46 pm

    • David Fry drives in two, steals base in win
David Fry delivered a two-run single and also stole a base on Monday, leading the Guardians to a 3-1 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Fry kicked off the scoring with a two-run single off Mets starter Tylor Megill in the opening frame. He also walked and stole a base -- his third theft of the season -- in the fourth inning as well. The unheralded 28-year-old is off to a strong start this year, batting .329 (26-for-79) with four homers, 16 RBI and three steals in 32 contests. Rotoworld Today, 6:03 pm

    • Three-hit effort in loss
Raley went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Raley accomplished the rare feat of generating a three-hit tally against Orioles starter Corbin Burnes, who was otherwise mostly dominant while recording 11 strikeouts across six frames. Raley now has three multi-hit efforts during his current six-game hitting streak, a stretch in which he's posted a .458 average (11-for-24) with Sunday's pair of two-baggers, two home runs, five RBI and two steals across 24 plate appearances. • Pops first homer of May
Altuve went 1-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Brewers.

Advice: Altuve led off the bottom of the first inning with a home run, his eighth of the season and first since April 28. He's hit a moderate slump in May, as he's hitting .243 with six RBI and nine runs scored across 17 games, though he has chipped in three stolen bases. Altuve has maintained a .854 OPS across the first 207 plate appearances of the campaign, so there's little reason for concern about his slightly slower stretch of production. • Nearing game action
Robert (hip) is still awaiting his first action at the team's complex in Glendale, Ariz., Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "We anticipate some game action later this week,'' general manager Chris Getz said. "He seems to have turned the corner and is trending well."

Advice: There was some hope that Robert would get into games in Arizona last week, but the White Sox decided not to push it. Robert missed more than three months with a similar injury in 2021, so it makes sense that the organization would take a cautious approach. While he remains without a definitive timetable to return to the majors, Robert seems to be progressing well, though at a deliberate pace. Rotowire.com Today, 5:35 am
