    • Initiates home run party
Walker went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, three RBI and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 14-1 win over St. Louis.

Advice: Walker kicked off the Diamondbacks' fun with a three-run blast in the third inning. It was the first of three Arizona homers, as later Kevin Newman (two-run shot) and Pavin Smith (grand slam) added to the rout. For Walker, it was his first home run since April 2, snapping an 18-game drought. With four homers in 25 games to start the 2024 season, Walker is behind the pace established the last two seasons when the first baseman launched 36 (2022) and 33 homers (2023); however, he had just four April home runs in each of those two previous seasons. It seems Walker's more productive months are ahead of him. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:18 am
    • Swats solo shot Monday
Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Giants.

Advice: Alonso accounted for the Mets' first run with a fifth-inning solo blast to left field. The long ball snapped a seven-game homerless drought for the slugger, and he had gone just 4-for-26 with one RBI during that stretch. Alonso still leads the team -- and is tied for third in the majors -- with seven homers on the campaign, though he's knocked in just 12 runs. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:38 pm

    • Pete Alonso hits seventh homer against Giants
Pete Alonso went 2-for-4 and homered against the Giants on Monday.

Advice: Unfortunately, Alonso couldn’t come through again in the ninth, when the Mets scored once off Camilo Doval but still fell three runs short. Alonso is tied for third in the majors with seven homers. Rotoworld Monday, 9:16 pm

    • Receives breather Sunday
Walker is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Walker started the first 22 games of the season but will receive a well-deserved day off Sunday in San Francisco. Pavin Smith will step in at first base and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:19 pm
    • Three doubles in win
Santander went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 9-7 win over the Royals.

Advice: This was Santander's first three-hit game of the season and just his fourth multi-hit effort. The outfielder is starting to warm up, going 7-for-15 (.467) over his last four contests following a three-game slump. Overall, Santander is slashing .237/.289/.474 with four home runs, 17 RBI, 10 runs scored and six doubles over 19 contests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:27 am

    • Anthony Santander picks up three hits, two RBI
Anthony Santander went 3-for-5 and drove in two runs in a victory for the Orioles on Saturday over the Royals.

Advice: Santander doubled twice in this contest, and both scored runs. The 29-year-old scuffled out of the game, but a four-game hitting streak has seen his average increase from .180 to .237 in that timeframe. Santander should be a solid — if a bit streaky — fantasy option again in 2024. Rotoworld Saturday, 7:21 pm

    • Goes deep Wednesday
Santander went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Santander has gone 3-for-18 over his last five contests. That's not a great stretch, but so far, he's in little danger of losing playing time as manager Brandon Hyde gets creative to keep Colton Cowser in the lineup. Santander is batting .203 with four homers, 15 RBI, nine runs scored, two doubles and no stolen bases through 74 plate appearances as the Orioles' primary right fielder.
