    • Homer, two hits in win
Buxton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Astros.

Advice: Buxton singled and scored in the third inning and then hit a two-run homer in the seventh. Over the past 10 games, he has gone a ridiculous 16-for-37 with five long balls, 14 RBI and 13 runs scored. The 30-year-old is enjoying a solid bounceback season, slashing .271/.324/.485 with nine home runs, 37 RBI, 38 runs scored and five steals over 250 plate appearances. • Garrett Crochet goes four innings in start vs. MIA
Garrett Crochet allows three runs in four innings against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Much has been made of Crochet being on a limited pitch count in his first year as a starter, but he likely wouldn’t have gone deep even without said limit. On top of giving up his three runs, he needed 93 pitches to get through those four innings while walking three and striking out five. Crochet has been a heck of a find in 2024, but there’s likely to be an awful lot of three-to-five inning starts in the second half of the campaign. Keep that risk in mind. • Kyle Schwarber (groin) will return on Tuesday
Kyle Schwarber (groin) ran the bases at 100 percent on Saturday without issue and will be activated from the injured list on Tuesday.

Advice: Tuesday had been the target all along for the 31-year-old slugger to return and running at full speed on Saturday was the final hurdle that he needed to clear to meet that goal. With Schwarber back on Tuesday and Bryce Harper (hamstring) expected to follow shortly, the Phillies’ offense is getting an awful lot of left-handed power back next week. Rotoworld Today, 3:02 pm

    • Byron Buxton launches two-run homer in win
Byron Buxton went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored against the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Buxton knocked a base hit to lead off the third inning and scored on a two-run homer by Brooks Lee. He later extended the Twins’ lead with a two-run shot off Rafael Montero in the seventh inning. It was the ninth home run for the 30-year-old outfielder. He’s slashing .271/.324/.485 with 38 runs scored, 37 RBI, and five steals across 250 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:53 pm

    • Kyle Schwarber likely to return on Tuesday
Kyle Schwarber (groin) is scheduled to run the bases on Saturday.

Advice: Schwarber is poised to complete his final step towards returning this weekend and appears a near-lock to return on Tuesday when the Phillies kick off a highly-anticipated series against the Dodgers. Rotoworld Today, 12:45 pm

    • Sitting again Saturday
Polanco isn't in Seattle's lineup Saturday versus the Blue Jays.

Advice: Saturday will mark the third straight game that Polanco hasn't started, with Dylan Moore starting at second base for the second time in a row. The 31-year-old has put up a career-low .576 OPS through 208 plate appearances, although he has recorded a base hit in five of his last six games. Rotowire.com Today, 11:23 am

    • White Sox plan to limit Garrett Crochet’s workload
White Sox manager Pedro Grifol told reporters Saturday that Garrett Crochet will likely have a limited pitch count in his final start prior to the All-Star break.

Advice: Crochet has been the biggest name floated as a possible trade candidate in the coming weeks and it’s going to take a considerable haul to meet Chicago’s asking price. The 25-year-old southpaw has managed to stay healthy and finally put everything together in a stellar first-half breakthrough, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that the White Sox are going to limit his workload leading up to the trade deadline in a few weeks. • Picks up 14th steal
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Henderson has usually made an impact with power, but he flashed his speed Friday. He stole third base and scored on an error following his leadoff single in the first inning. The shortstop is 16-for-46 (.348) over his last 11 games, lifting his season slash line to .288/.379/.599 through 87 contests. He's added 27 home runs, 14 steals, 60 RBI, 76 runs scored, 18 doubles and four triples. Rotowire.com Today, 10:40 am

    • Four hits in win
Arenado went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Advice: Arenado had one of his best games of the season. Even with his four hits, he remains cold in terms of run production -- he has just two RBI over his last 14 contests. For the year, he's at a .265/.317/.377 slash line with seven home runs, 34 RBI, 32 runs scored, 14 doubles and a stolen base over 81 games. Rotowire.com Today, 10:13 am
