      Advice: Tatis helped generate San Diego's first run, reaching on a leadoff single in the sixth inning, advancing to second on another single, then taking part in a double steal with Jake Cronenworth before both players scored on a Jurickson Profar hit. Tatis has been somewhat quiet at the plate this season, but he's still been moderately productive with a .248/.327/.442 slash line, seven homers, 20 RBI, 28 runs and five stolen bases through 168 plate appearances.       Buxton (knee) has been running in a pool and participating in his normal workouts, but has not been swinging a bat, Dan Hayes of the TheAthletic.com reports.

      Advice: An MRI on Buxton's injured right knee Thursday showed only inflammation and no structural damage. Buxton is optimistic he can return when eligible to come off the IL on May 12.       Eloy Jiménez belted a go-ahead solo homer in the seventh inning on Sunday, helping to power the White Sox to victory over the Cardinals.

      Advice: The 27-year-old slugger led off the seventh inning with his 411-foot (105.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Giovanny Gallegos — giving the White Sox a 2-1 advantage.       Advice: The Padres were able to hit three homers Friday in the easy win, and Tatis Jr. swatted the first of those roundtrippers with a two-run shot in the fourth. The 25-year-old star also singled home a run in the fifth, and he’s up to seven homers and 20 RBI over the first month-plus.       Mike Trout underwent successful surgery on Friday to repair the meniscus tear in his left knee.

      Advice: Officially, Trout underwent a partial medial meniscectomy. While there’s still no official timetable for his return, the Angels remain optimistic that he’ll be able to return to the lineup at some point during the 2024 season. Unfortunately, that leaves fantasy managers in leagues without injured list spots having to carry a zero on the bench for an indefinite amount of time, or risk the pain of throwing him back into the free agent pool and not being able to reacquire him when/if he does return.
