    • Collects 17th save
Iglesias allowed one hit while tossing a scoreless ninth inning to collect the save Thursday against the Orioles.

Advice: Iglesias hit the first batter he faced, then allowed a one-out single but settled down to record the final two outs and pick up his 17th save in 19 attempts. Iglesias has only allowed one run over his last nine outings since May 17, with each appearance lasting exactly one inning. He's gone 7-for-7 in save opportunities over that span. • Jordan Romano (elbow) resumes throwing
Jordan Romano resumed throwing the last two days and could get back on a mound later this week.

Advice: Romano, out with elbow inflammation, is eligible to come the IL on Saturday, but there are no plans to activate him then. If everything goes well, he could be back before the end of the month. Rotoworld Monday, 4:04 pm

    • Picks up win Sunday
Estevez (1-3) got the win over the Astros on Sunday after pitching a scoreless ninth inning and striking out a batter in the process.

Advice: Estevez was tasked with preserving a tie game, and did so without any trouble, sending the Astros hitters down in order on 12 pitches. He wound up as the winning pitcher after the Angels walked it off in the bottom of the ninth thanks to a two-run homer from Logan O'Hoppe. Estevez now has four consecutive scoreless appearances during which he's compiled three saves and a win. For the year, the 31-year-old has 10 saves to go with a 4.05 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 19:3 K:BB in 20 innings. Rotowire.com Jun 10, 8:43 am

    • Set to resume throwing program
Romano (elbow) is expected to resume throwing Monday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: The right-hander will throw from flat ground and stretch out to 150 feet before beginning mound work. The Blue Jays are proceeding cautiously with their closer after he received an anti-inflammatory injection June 2, but Romano might still be able to avoid a rehab stint before being activated from the injured list. • Carlos Estévez earns victory against Astros Sunday
Carlos Estévez picked up his first victory of the season on Sunday, working a scoreless ninth inning in a tied game against the Astros.

Advice: The 31-year-old hurler came on to work the top half of the ninth inning after the Angels had rallied to score two runs in the eighth to tie the game. Estevez retired the side in order — including a strikeout of Yainer Diaz — then became the beneficiary when the Angels walked it off in the home half of the inning. On the season, he sports a 4.05 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and a 19/3 K/BB ratio over 20 innings while recording 10 saves in 13 chances. Rotoworld Jun 9, 4:54 pm
