    • Munoz gives up three home runs once again
Roddery Munoz allowed four runs in six innings and took the loss against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: Munoz gave up six hits, walked four and struck out four. It was another rough game for Munoz, who allowed six earned runs in his last start as well as three home runs. He only allowed four runs against the Royals, but gave up another three home runs as well as a double by Bobby Witt Jr. He now has a 5.80 ERA and is off the fantasy radar. The 24-year-old right-hander is set to face the Phillies on the road this weekend.

    • Ragans records 11 strikeouts on way to fifth win
Cole Ragans allowed one run in six innings and got the win in the Royals’ 4-1 victory over the Marlins on Monday.

Advice: Ragans gave up four hits, walked three and struck out 11. The win was his fifth of the season and first since May 22nd against the Tigers. Ragans is third in all of baseball with 120 strikeouts on the season trailing only Tyler Glasnow and Garrett Crochet. He lowered his ERA to 3.03 on the year. The 26-year-old left-hander is set to face the Guardians at home this weekend.

    • Stress reaction sends Fernando Tatis Jr. to IL
Padres placed OF Fernando Tatis Jr. on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 22, with a right femoral stress reaction.

Advice: That’s better than a stress fracture, but it’s not great. The Padres will likely go to Bryce Johnson in right field most days, but he’s not going to replace Tatis’s production. Tatis was hitting .279/.354/.468 with 14 homers in 345 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:54 pm

    • Lands on IL with quad injury
The Padres placed Tatis on the 10-day injured list Monday, retroactive to June 22, due to a right femoral stress reaction in his quadriceps.

Advice: Tatis missed the last two games with a triceps injury after being hit in the left arm by a pitch Friday, and he will now be sidelined with a separate quadriceps injury. His stint on the IL would line up with a return in early July, but it's possible the 25-year-old will be held out longer than that until perhaps after the All-Star break, per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Tatis is slashing .279/.354/.468 with 14 home runs and 36 RBI over 345 plate appearances and an .822 OPS. Rotowire.com Today, 3:44 pm

    • Fernando Tatis Jr. to land on IL with quad injury
Fernando Tatis Jr. is going on the IL with a slight stress reaction in his quad, according to manager Mike Shildt.

Advice: That’s another big loss for the Padres offense, especially given the alternatives in right field. The Padres are bringing up Bryce Johnson and likely will give him a lot of playing time for at least the next couple of weeks. Rotoworld Today, 3:32 pm

    • Spencer Howard will be bulk reliever on Monday
Spencer Howard will be a bulk reliever for the Giants on Monday against the Cubs.

Advice: Erik Miller will start as the opener, but Howard should provide three or four innings behind him. Howard was great in his first three bulk outings, allowing three runs in 13 1/3 innings; however, his last two outings haven’t been nearly as good. That makes him a risky option even against the Cubs. Rotoworld Today, 12:06 pm
    • On tap for bulk relief Monday
Howard is expected to serve as the Giants' primary pitcher out of the bullpen in Monday's game against the Cubs, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Left-hander Erik Miller will serve as the Giants' opening pitcher but isn't likely to work more than an inning or two before turning the game over to Howard, who is expected to eat up the bulk of the innings. Howard covered just one frame in his last appearance, but prior to that, he averaged nearly four innings and more than 60 pitches in his first four outings for the Giants following his May 28 call-up from Triple-A Sacramento. • Fernando Tatis Jr. was available off bench Sunday
Padres’ manager Mike Shildt told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Brewers that Fernando Tatis Jr. (triceps, quad) was available off the bench.

Advice: The Padres were simply waiting for the right opportunity to present itself on Sunday, unfortunately it never did. It’s good news for the superstar outfielder’s availability going forward though, as he should return to the Padres’ starting lineup early in the week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:45 pm

    • Jurickson Profar back in lineup Sunday vs. Brewers
Jurickson Profar (knee) is back in the lineup for Sunday’s showdown against the Brewers.

Advice: Profar is back in left field and batting second on Sunday afternoon following a brief one-game absence due to left knee patellar tendinitis that flared up during Friday’s contest. The 31-year-old corner outfielder should be able to manage and play through the issue moving forward. He’s been an unexpected revelation this season for San Diego and is making a serious bid for a spot on the senior circuit’s All-Star Game roster. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:56 am
