    • Effective since demotion
Jimenez fired two perfect innings with four strikeouts over his first two relief appearances with Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday and Sunday. He also recorded a save in the latter outing.

Advice: It's a small sample, but the decision to demote Jimenez after a couple of uneven outings earlier in May appears to have been a prudent one. The right-hander has breezed through his first pair of appearances for the Aviators, and if he continues on a similar track, Jimenez could soon find himself back on the big-league roster. • Struggles with command
Wilson allowed two runs on five hits and five walks over four-plus innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out one in the loss to St. Louis.

Advice: Wilson walked home a run in the second inning but managed to hold the Cardinals to one run through four frames. He was knocked out of the contest after coughing up a home run to Paul Goldschmidt and a double to Alex Burleson to begin the fifth inning. Wilson has produced a shaky 16:13 K:BB over his last four starts but owns a 2.21 ERA during that span. He's produced a 2.65 ERA through 34 innings this season. Wilson's currently projected to start in Houston next weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 9:15 pm

    • Optioned to Triple-A
Kranick was optioned outright to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.

Advice: After Kranick was designated for assignment by the Mets on Monday, the right-hander cleared waivers and he'll now report to Triple-A. The 26-year-old has made two starts with Syracuse this season, producing a 2.57 ERA and 1.71 WHIP with two strikeouts over seven innings. Rotowire.com Today, 9:15 pm

    • Lands another W
Neris (3-0) picked up the win Sunday against the Pirates, allowing two hits and one walk over a scoreless inning. He struck out one.

Advice: Neris took the mound in the top of the ninth during a 2-2 ballgame and fired off a scoreless inning, eventually earning the win after the Cubs put up three runs in the 10th. Since taking over closing duties from Adbert Alzolay, Neris has converted all six of his save chances and has earned a pair of wins. Over his last nine appearances, Neris owns a 2.00 ERA and a 7:7 K:BB in 9.0 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 9:10 pm
    • Looks like himself
Hendricks didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Pittsburgh, allowing one run on two hits and four walks across five innings. He struck out five.

Advice: Hendricks was placed on the IL on April 23 with a lower back strain, a move that followed an extremely uncharacteristic start to the season. Prior to the injury, Hendricks stumbled to a 12.00 ERA and a 2.10 WHIP with eight homers allowed across 21.0 innings. Considering Hendricks had allowed 28 combined home runs over 221.1 innings the past two seasons and owned a 3.54 career ERA before 2024, Sunday's start was much more in line with Hendricks' averages. While one solid start doesn't mean fantasy managers should expect the Hendricks of old moving forward, it's a positive sign amid a not-so-positive season for Hendricks. He's lined up for a rematch with the Pirates on Friday. Rotowire.com Today, 9:04 pm
    • Victorious in quality outing
Mikolas (3-5) allowed three runs on six hits and three walks over six innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: It looked like Mikolas would be chased early after Milwaukee plated three runs in the first inning. Instead, he settled in for a quality start and allowed only one Brewer to reach scoring position over the next five frames. He now has four quality starts through nine outings this season, with two coming in his last three appearances. Mikolas forced just four whiffs Sunday and hasn't reached double digits in any start this year. He'll carry a 6.19 ERA into his next outing, which is lined up to be at home against Boston. • Slams door for save
Helsley struck out two batters in a perfect inning and earned a save over Milwaukee on Sunday.

Advice: Helsley needed only 12 pitches (10 strikes) to quickly close out the 4-3 victory. Since blowing a save in his season debut, he's converted 12 consecutive chances. During that stretch, Helsley has given up just one earned run over 18 frames, lowering his season ERA to 1.42 alongside a 21:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Today, 8:51 pm
    • Falls to 0-5
Soroka (0-5) yielded five runs (four earned) on four hits and a walk over 5.1 innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against Cleveland.

Advice: Soroka gave up one run through three innings before stumbling in the fourth. He coughed up two homers in the frame, including a two-run shot by David Fry. Soroka has coughed up at least one home run in eight of his nine starts this season. On a more positive note, Sunday was the first time he'd issued fewer than two walks since April 4. Soroka now owns a 6.39 ERA with a 24:24 K:BB through 43.2 frames. His next start is projected to be a road matchup with the Yankees. Rotowire.com Today, 8:35 pm

    • Silences Dodgers over seven frames
Darvish (3-1) earned the win over the Dodgers on Sunday after firing seven shutout innings and allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out seven.

Advice: Darvish extended his scoreless innings streak to 17 innings in another dominant outing since returning from the injured list April 30. He retired the first 14 hitters he faced in order until walking Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth. Darvish generated an excellent 19 whiffs and tied his season high with seven strikeouts. The 37-year-old owns a 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB in 40.2 innings and lines up for another tough task against Atlanta his next time out. Rotowire.com Today, 8:32 pm
