    • Sharp outing against Yankees
Musgrove did not factor into the decision in Sunday's win over the Yankees, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out five over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Musgrove blanked the Yankees through five before Juan Soto finally opened up the scoring with a one-out RBI double in the sixth that prompted Musgrove's exit after 87 pitches. Despite remaining winless since April 21, Sunday's start was an encouraging showing and one of Musgrove's best starts in what's been a tough season for him so far. The 31-year-old will carry a 5.66 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 44:15 K:BB (49.1 innings) into a road start against the Royals this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:12 am

    • Converts four-out save
Suarez picked up the save in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Yankees, striking out two while allowing one run on two hits in 1.1 innings.

Advice: Suarez came in with two runners on and two out in the eighth to face Aaron Judge and bested him with a strikeout. He returned for the ninth and started off by allowing a home run to Alex Verdugo but was able to get the job done from there. The home run was the first run Suarez has given up since March 28. He continues to be one of the most dominant closers in baseball this year, as he's now tied for third with 15 saves and owns a 0.76 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB in 23.2 innings. • Climbs above .200 again
Rafaela went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Rafaela's eighth-inning double put him in position to score the winning run. He has multiple hits in two straight games and has gone 7-for-22 (.318) over the last six. That's pushed his batting average to .208, the third time he's climbed above the Mendoza Line this season. Rafaela is a bit of conundrum. He leads the Red Sox in RBI (28) and is fifth in extra-base hits (16), but he's not exactly a good hitter. Boston manager Alex Cora told Alex Speier of The Boston Globe that Rafaela has "big moves" in his swing as he tries to hit for power -- how he loads the swing, the leg kick and the swing itself. For long-term success, Cora believes Rafaela needs to shorten his swing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:45 am

    • Slump continues
Carter went 0-for-2 in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Carter's hitless run reached 20 consecutive at-bats, and he's just two for his last 38. With Wyatt Langford (hamstring) possibly set to return Tuesday, the Rangers could send Carter back down to the minors to fix whatever is not working for him right now. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:10 am

    • Plays catch
Eflin (back) was able to play catch Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Eflin was placed on the injured list with an effective date of May 19. He was projected to miss two-to-four weeks when first diagnosed, so he'll need to make significant progress quickly to hit the lower range of that timeline. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:13 am

    • Throws seven high-quality innings
Webb did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing one run (none earned) on three hits and a walk over seven innings against the Mets. He struck out eight.

Advice: The lone unearned run Webb allowed was set up by his own error, but he was lights-out otherwise with a season-high eight strikeouts and left the game in line for the win. The outing dropped Webb's ERA to 2.74 with a 1.26 WHIP across 72.1 innings. His next scheduled start is slated for next weekend when the Giants host the Yankees. Rotowire.com Sunday, 5:29 pm

    • Joe Musgrove pitches well in no-decision vs. Yanks
Joe Musgrove looked sharp in a no-decision against the Yankees on Sunday afternoon, surrendering just one run on six hits over his 5 1/3 innings.

Advice: The 31-year-old hurler struck out five batters on the afternoon and didn’t issue a base on balls. He kept the Yankees off the board through the first five innings until Juan Soto broke through with a one-out RBI double in the sixth that chased Musgrove from the ballgame. The Padres would go on to score four times in their half of the sixth inning, but Musgrove wouldn’t benefit. He generated 10 swings and misses on 87 pitches on the day, registering a solid CSW of 29 percent. He’ll look to build off of this start as he carries a 5.66 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and a 44/15 K/BB ratio (49 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s start against the Royals in Kansas City. • Jorge Polanco (hamstring) to undergo MRI on Monday
Jorge Polanco will undergo an MRI exam on his injured left hamstring on Monday.

Advice: Mariners’ manager Scott Servais told reporters after Sunday’s game that the club will have a better idea on his availability after that exam. The Mariners would probably be best served putting him on the injured list this time around and giving him the proper time to heal, but that’s not the path that they took while allowing him to sit out most of last week on a day-to-day basis. Expect the M’s to provide more information after Monday’s exam. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:56 pm

    • Logan Webb strikes out eight in no-decision
Logan Webb struck out eight Mets across seven innings on Sunday. He allowed three hits and walked just one.

Advice: Webb was in complete control in this one despite allowing a good bit of hard contact. The Mets swung and missed 11 times at his sinker alone and his eight strikeouts marked a season high. A win seemed all but cinched before Tyler Rogers imploded in the ninth inning. Webb has been one of the best pitchers in baseball in the early going. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:12 pm
