    • Gives up one hit in loss
Butto (1-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Phillies, allowing two runs on one hit and four walks over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Butto was sharp for most of the day, though he hit a rough patch in the third inning -- the right-hander loaded the bases with two outs before hitting Alec Bohm with a pitch and walking Brandon Marsh. The two runs proved to be more than enough to stick Butto with the loss, as the Mets couldn't get anything going against Aaron Nola in a 4-0 shutout defeat. The 26-year-old Butto's allowed just six runs in his last three starts (16 innings), though he's gone 1-2 in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at a solid 3.08 through his first 38 innings this year with a 1.13 WHIP and 38:21 K:BB. Butto's currently in line for a road start early next week against the Guardians. • José Buttó allows just one hit in defeat
José Buttó held the Phillies to two runs and one hit over five innings in a loss Tuesday.

Advice: The walks are really starting to pile up for Buttó now, but he’s remained tough to hit; the league is batting just .171 against him in his seven starts. He issued four free passes today, giving up nearly as many walks (21) as hits allowed (22) over his 38 innings. Unfortunately, he’ll miss the Marlins this weekend after the Mets made the move to a six-man rotation and will instead face the Guardians on Monday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:12 pm
    • Scoreless in no-decision
Bibee allowed three hits and two walks over 5.1 scoreless innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four during the win over Texas.

Advice: Bibee failed to complete six innings for the third consecutive start, but this time it was simply due to a high pitch count. He was tagged with 10 runs in his previous two starts but bounced back with his second scoreless start of the year. Bibee retired the first 11 batters Monday before tailing off a bit near the end of his start, leaving the game after loading the bases in the sixth inning. He lowered his ERA to 4.34 with a 48:15 K:BB through 45.2 innings. Bibee's next start is expected to be at home this weekend against the Twins. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:35 pm

    • Bibee gets no-decision Monday
Tanner Bibee threw 5 1/3 innings of shutout ball in a no-decision in the Guardians’ 7-0 victory over the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Bibee allowed three hits, two walks and struck out four in the contest. Guardians manager Stephen Vogt removed Bibee from the game with the bases loaded in the sixth inning. Reliever Nick Sandlin escaped the jam without any runs scoring, preserving Bibee’s ERA. His ERA is 4.34 on the season. The 25-year-old right-hander is set to face the Twins at home this weekend. • Earns third win
Eflin (3-4) earned the win Monday, allowing three runs on six hits while not walking a batter over five innings against the Red Sox. He struck out two.

Advice: Eflin was able to grind through five innings, tossing 91 pitches to earn the win for the second-consecutive start. After being staked with a three-run lead before ever taking the hill, Eflin allowed a three-run homer to Tyler O'Neill in the bottom of the first that tied the score. Despite the elevated pitch count through five, Eflin managed to keep the Red Sox off the board throughout the remainder of his start and did not allow a free pass in the process. Eflin will carry a 3.91 ERA and 1.13 WHIP into his next start, tentatively slated to take place over the weekend when the Rays travel to Toronto for a three-game set against the division-rival Blue Jays. • Zach Eflin completes five frames to beat Red Sox
Zach Eflin gave up three runs over five innings on Monday in a win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Eflin was tagged for a three-run blast by Tyler O’Neill in the opening frame, but managed to settle in afterwards, keeping Boston’s lineup scoreless for the remainder of his abbreviated outing at Fenway Park. He struck out two and didn’t hand out a free pass for the sixth time in his last seven starts. The 30-year-old control artist will bring a respectable 3.91 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 41/4 K/BB ratio across 53 innings (nine starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the division-rival Blue Jays. • Struggles versus Miami
Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals. • Zack Wheeler tagged by Marlins on Sunday
Zack Wheeler allowed six runs on six hits in four innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Wheeler allowed seven hard-hit balls in just four innings of work, including a three-run homer to Josh Bell. He posted just a 12 percent whiff rate and 15 percent CSW and was only able to land his sinker in the strike zone 32 percent of the time. It feels like just an off-game for Wheeler, whose velocity was fine. He’ll carry a 2.53 ERA into next week’s start against the Nationals. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:11 pm

    • Freddy Peralta fans eight Cardinals in no-decision
Freddy Peralta recorded eight strikeouts and yielded three runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Cardinals.

Advice: Peralta induced 16 swinging strikes, including 12 alone on his fastball, and finished with a solid 34 percent CSW. The 27-year-old righty continues to pitch at an elite level for fantasy purposes this season with a strong 3.63 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 58/16 K/BB ratio across 44 2/3 innings (eight starts). He’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in seven of his eight starts so far and is in line to face the Astros on Friday in a challenging road matchup. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:32 am
