    • On bench against lefty
Suwinski is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Advice: Lefty Robert Gasser is on the bump for Milwaukee, so the lefty-hitting Suwinski will retreat to the bench for the series finale. Edward Olivares will fill in for Suwinski in right field and will bat fifth. Rotowire.com Today, 10:06 am

    • Swats fourth homer Tuesday
Rafaela went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-inning win over the Rays.

Advice: It was a roller coaster night for the 23-year-old. Rafaela gave Boston a 3-1 lead in the fifth inning by taking Aaron Civale deep for his fourth long ball of the year, but his throwing error in the top of the 11th nearly gave Tampa Bay the win. The Red Sox were able to tie the game back up in the bottom of the frame, though, in part thanks to Rafaela's sacrifice bunt, before winning it in the 12th. Rafaela has collected a hit in 10 of 12 contests in May, batting .275 (11-for-40) on the month with two doubles and two homers, but his 1:11 BB:K is a warning sign that his numbers could swoon quickly as they did in April (.515 OPS in 26 games.) • Snaps out of funk
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia entered Tuesday's game batting .154 in May but delivered his first homer since Apr. 28 and his first multi-hit game since Apr. 21. Even with the cold spell, Garcia is slashing .247/.297/.449 across 175 plate appearances with a .202 ISO, which aren't too far off his 2022 and 2023 numbers. Rotowire.com Today, 12:20 am

    • Adolis Garcia homers in two-hit night vs. CLE
Adolis Garcia went 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Garcia’s ninth homer of the season came on a solo blast off Cleveland’s Ben Lively. It was the first homer of the month for Garcia, who has cooled off in a big way after a strong April. Garcia entered the day slashing .154/.193/.173 in the month of May and has become difficult to trust in fantasy as a result. Managers who are unwilling to bench him will have to hope he comes out of this slump sooner rather than later. Hopefully, Tuesday’s two-hit night is a step in the right direction. • Rafaela homers in win over Rays
Ceddanne Rafaela went 1-for-3 with a home run and a sac bunt in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: The 23-year-old got a little bit lucky on a 344-foot home run that was well-hit at 102.5 mph off the bat but would have only been a home run in eight MLB stadiums. However, it continues a solid stretch of production for the rookie who has gone 16-for-52 (.308) over his last 15 games with three home runs, 13 RBI, seven runs, and one steal. He still has 14 strikeouts to just one walk over that span, so his long swing will continue to be an issue for him as he adjusts to MLB pitching, but we’re starting to see some of the fantasy potential shine through, which makes him worthy of an add in deeper formats. • Could return Friday
Carter (back) received a cortisone injection and is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Guardians, but he could rejoin the lineup as soon as Friday versus the Angels, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning Newsreports.

Advice: The 21-year-old hasn't seen the field since Saturday and was diagnosed with lower-back inflammation after an MRI on Monday. He'll now be unavailable for at least a couple more days following the injection. Ezequiel Duran is receiving another start in left field Tuesday in Carter's stead. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:36 pm

    • Evan Carter (back) not in Tuesday’s lineup
Evan Carter (back) is absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Guardians.

Advice: Carter is targeting a return to the Rangers’ lineup later this week after receiving a cortisone injection on Wednesday to address lower back inflammation. The 21-year-old outfielder appears likely to avoid the injured list, barring something unexpected, and should be ready to roll at some point in a couple days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:42 pm

    • On bench Tuesday
Carpenter is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: The left-handed Carpenter will avoid a matchup with southpaw Ryan Weathers on Tuesday, as Wenceel Perez, Matt Vierling and Mark Canha will start across the outfield. Carpenter has hit safely in five straight games, batting 7-for-18 (.389) with two homers and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm

    • Five-game hitting streak
Alvarez went 2-for-3 with a walk Monday against the Athletics.

Advice: Alvarez extended his hitting streak to five games with the performance, which was his fourth multi-hit performance in that span. He's also scored four runs and driven in another two during the sample. The strong stretch has also brought his batting average up to .264 across 180 plate appearances on the season, and that mark should continue to rise as the campaign progresses.
