    • Fans eight in loss
Webb (6-6) took the loss Sunday against St. Louis, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Webb struggled early, yielding two doubles and two singles as part of a three-run first inning before surrendering another run in the second frame. While Webb settled in afterward, the damage was already done, as the Giants failed to generate a hit until the seventh inning. The 27-year-old has completed six innings in nine consecutive starts and matched his season high in strikeouts Sunday. He's one of five players with 100 innings pitched this season and owns a 3.16 ERA and a 91:23 K:BB. Webb is scheduled for a home start against the Dodgers next weekend. • Charged with five runs
Suarez (3-2) yielded five runs on 10 hits and three walks over five innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Astros.

Advice: Suarez got off to a rocky start when the Astros plated four runs in the first inning, beginning with Jose Altuve's leadoff shot on Suarez's first pitch of the afternoon. Suarez was 3-0 through 14 appearances but has now taken back-to-back losses. Over his last two starts, he's been tagged with eight runs in 8.2 innings, bumping his season ERA from 1.61 to 2.70 through 49.2 frames. Part of his recent struggles can be attributed to his command issues, as he's walked 11 batters over his last three starts. Suarez is currently in line for a home matchup against the Rangers. • Webb recovers from rough start in loss
Logan Webb allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: The game started off on the wrong foot for Webb, who allowed three runs on four hits in the first inning and then allowed another run on two more hits in the second. Over his final four innings, he didn’t allow a run, while giving up just three hits and striking out four. Webb may be more of an SP2 in fantasy baseball than the ace many wanted him to be coming into this year, but he’s a rock-solid starter who will carry a 3.16 ERA into a tough start against the Dodgers next weekend. • Albert Suárez hit around in loss to Astros
Albert Suárez allowed five runs on 10 hits in five innings in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

Advice: Suárez has allowed eight earned runs in his last eight and 2/3 innings over two starts. His ERA may still be a sparking 2.70 on the season, but it feels unsustainable. He induced six whiffs on 43 swings for a 14 percent whiff rate and 22 percent CSW to go along with three strikeouts and three walks. He has gotten by with increased four-seam velocity this season, but the pitch mix isn’t overly dynamic, and it feels like an Orioles team that is hoping to make a run at the World Series will be looking to make a change in the rotation soon. For now, Suárez is set to start against the Rangers next week and is hard to trust in that one. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:39 pm

    • Sitting Sunday
Contreras isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Contreras will get a day to regroup Sunday after posting a .494 OPS through 18 games since the start of June. Gary Sanchez will fill in at catcher and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:01 am
    • William Contreras gets day off Sunday vs. Padres
William Contreras is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Pirates.

Advice: It appears to be a routine off day for Conteras after handling the catching duties in three consecutive contests. The 26-year-old has put together a phenomenal season so far, batting .293/.354/.443 with nine homers and five steals across 339 plate appearances over 75 contests. It’ll be Gary Sánchez behind the plate in his absence. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 am
    • Sitting Sunday
Moore is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Marlins.

Advice: Moore will get a rest Sunday after going 2-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-0 win over Miami. Ryan Bliss will start at second base and bat ninth against Marlins right-hander Kyle Tyler. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:36 am

    • Struggling on rehab assignment
The Reds haven't yet committed to activating Marte (suspension) when he's first eligible to return to the big club June 27, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: Reds manager David Bell professes not to be paying attention to Marte's numbers during his rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville as he continues the ramp-up process. Through the first 10 games of his assignment, Marte is hitting .156/.156/.178 with no walks and 13 strikeouts. If Marte can get back up to speed, the Reds could really use him both offensively and defensively at third base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:52 am

    • Laces pair of doubles Saturday
Moore went 2-for-5 with an RBI double, another two-bagger and two runs in a win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: The Mariners gave Julio Rodriguez the night off, but Moore had no trouble helping make up for the slugger's absence by authoring one of four multi-hit efforts for Seattle. The pair of extra-base hits were right on brand for Moore, who's hit a double or better on 24 of his 42 knocks this season to put him just one XBH away from tying a career-best figure in that category.
