    • Brandon Nimmo sinks Braves with walk-off blast
Brandon Nimmo played the role of hero on Sunday night in New York, crushing a walk-off two-run homer off of A.J. Minter to deliver a 4-3 victory over the Braves.

Advice: The Mets entered the final frame trailing 3-2, but things got interesting after Jeff McNeil started it off with a bunt single. He was then sacrificed to second base by Tomas Nido. McNeil got an unbelievable jump on a 2-1 offering to Nimmo and looked to have third base stolen, but Nimmo fouled the pitch off and showed clear frustration with himself over the situation. Not to worry though, as two pitches later he pulverized a cutter from Minter for a 396-foot (103.7 mph EV) walk-off blast. Not bad for his only at-bat in the contest. On the season, he’s now hitting .234/.379/.431 with six long balls and 27 RBI. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago

    • Jung Hoo Lee suffers dislocated shoulder on Sunday
The Giants announced that Jung Hoo Lee suffered a dislocated shoulder after crashing into the outfield wall during Sunday’s game against the Reds.

Advice: Giants’ skipper Bob Melvin called it a separated shoulder during his update, but the Giants corrected it to dislocated. He’ll undergo an MRI exam on Monday to determine the severity of the issue, but it sounds like he’s going to miss substantial time and could even be shelved for the remainder of the 2024 season. It’s a brutal blow to a Giants’ outfield that has lost Michael Conforto (hamstring) and Jorge Soler (shoulder) already in recent days. Rotoworld Today, 5:55 pm

    • Jake Cronenworth leaves the yard in win on Sunday
Jake Cronenworth blasted his seventh home run of the season on Sunday, helping to power the Padres to victory over the visiting Dodgers.

Advice: The 30-year-old infielder went back-to-back with teammate Fernando Tatis Jr. off of Walker Buehler in the opening inning of this one, with Cronenworth’s blast traveling 408 feet (106.5 mph EV). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon. For the season, he’s now slashing a healthy .285/.349/.503 to go along with the aforementioned seven long balls and 27 RBI. • Suffers dislocated shoulder
Lee (shoulder) suffered a dislocated left shoulder Sunday and will undergo an MRI on Monday according to manager Bob Melvin, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Lee exited Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Reds in the first inning with a dislocated left shoulder and he could be set for an extended absence now. More information will be provided following Monday's MRI, but a trip to the injured list is certainly on the table for the 25-year-old. Rotowire.com Today, 4:48 pm

    • Jung Hoo Lee leaves game with shoulder strain
Jung Hoo Lee was removed from Sunday’s game against the Reds with a left shoulder strain after colliding with the center field wall.

Advice: Lee had just returned to the Giants’ lineup on Sunday after missing the previous three games due to a sore foot. He’ll head for further evaluation to determine the severity of the injury and how much time he may miss. The Giants are already down Michael Conforto (hamstring) and Jorge Soler (shoulder) in their outfield, so an extended absence for Lee would be a major blow to an already depleted offense. • Suffers left shoulder strain
Lee exited Sunday's contest against the Reds in the first inning with a left shoulder strain, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Lee was forced to leave Sunday's series finale with Cincinnati after he ran into the outfield wall after suffering what is now understood to be a left shoulder strain. The 25-year-old now appears set for an extended absence after making his return from a foot injury Sunday. If Lee ultimately ends up on the injured list, Tyler Fitzgerald would stand to see an increase in workload in San Francisco's outfield. Rotowire.com Today, 2:35 pm

    • Yandy Díaz homers in second straight game
Yandy Díaz went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run, and two runs scored in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Díaz had a strong series against the Yankees, going 6-for-11 with two home runs across the three games. He’s starting to heat up a bit at the plate and has raised his slash line to .250/.313/.356 with three home runs and 19 RBI. The Rays lineup should trend up in the coming months, and Díaz could be starting to heat up as the summer approaches. Now might be the time to try and see if you can acquire him in a trade. • Exits game with left arm injury
Lee left in the first inning of Sunday's game against the Reds with a left arm injury, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lee crashed into the outfield fence attempting to make a catch in the top of the first inning. He fell to the ground and immediately grabbed his left shoulder, and the athletic trainer was holding Lee's left arm as they walked off the field. Lee is coming off a three-game absence due to a sore foot, and it appears the 25-year-old is set to miss even more time with what appears to be a more significant injury. Tyler Fitzgerald has taken over at center field for the rest of Sunday's game. Rotowire.com Today, 1:39 pm

    • Brandon Nimmo (ribs) hopes to return on Monday
Brandon Nimmo (intercostal) expects to return to the Mets’ lineup on Monday.

Advice: The 31-year-old outfielder was pulled from Saturday’s game due to right intercostal irritation. He tried to talk manager Carlos Mendoza into letting him play on Sunday, but was unable to convince him. It does not sound like he’ll require a trip to the injured list though and should return to the Mets’ lineup for Monday’s series opener against the Phillies. Rotoworld Today, 1:29 pm
