    • Jason Foley escapes ninth inning with eighth save
Jason Foley walked the tightrope in the ninth inning against the Royals on Saturday, escaping with a one-run lead intact to earn his eighth save of the season.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander came on with a three-run advantage, but the Royals nudged closer as they put three hits together to score a pair of runs and put the tying run on base. He rallied back though to get Vinnie Pasquantino on a fly ball to center to end the ballgame. On the season, Foley now holds a 1.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and an 11/6 K/BB ratio across 12 innings on the season to go along with eight saves and two victories. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago
    • Maikel Garcia plates two, steals base in loss
Maikel Garcia went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base as the Royals fell to the Tigers on Saturday evening in Motown.

Advice: Garcia led off the game with a single off of Casey Mize and came around to score the game’s first run on an RBI ground ball off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. He then drove in a run with an RBI single in the second inning and swiped second base before being stranded there. The 24-year-old third baseman also plated a run with a ground ball in the ninth inning. With his two-hit attack, he’s now hitting .222/.277/.380 with four homers, 20 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld 54 minutes ago

    • Red Sox move Triston Casas to 60-day IL
Red Sox transferred 1B Triston Casas to the 60-day injured list.

Advice: The team needed to free up a spot on their 40-man roster for the addition of Garrett Cooper, and Casas made logical sense after it was reported that he’s dealing with torn cartilage in his ribs and could be sidelined for up to nine weeks. He won’t be eligible to return until the end of June. Rotoworld Today, 4:09 pm

    • Corey Seager swats second homer on Saturday
Corey Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo homer on Saturday against the Reds.

Advice: Seager was originally scheduled to get the day off on Saturday, but was a late addition to the lineup. On his 30th birthday, he swatted a solo homer in the ninth inning, his second of the season. Seager has been off to a relatively cold start, hitting .247/.336/.330 with the two homers, 12 runs scored, and seven RBI across 110 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 3:57 pm

    • Moves to 60-day IL
The Red Sox transferred Casas (ribs) to the 60-day injured list Saturday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: Casas was diagnosed with a cartilage tear in his left ribcage Friday, and it will officially cost him at least two months as he moves to the 60-day IL. The 24-year-old first baseman was optimistic Friday about returning to the lineup before the end of the season, but there is no telling when that might be, given the wide range of recovery timelines that come with his sort of injury. His roster spot will be given to Garrett Cooper, who was acquired from the Cubs on Saturday in exchange for cash and figures to take over as Boston's primary first baseman while Casas is out. • Thairo Estrada returns to Giants lineup
Thairo Estrada (hamstring) returned to the Giants’ starting lineup on Saturday.

Advice: Estrada was pulled from Wednesdays game against the Mets due to tightness in his hamstring, then sat out Friday’s contest as a precautionary measure. He’s back in there at second base and batting eighth against Martin Perez and the Pirates on Saturday night. Rotoworld Today, 3:11 pm
    • Returns to lineup
Estrada (hamstring) is starting at second base and batting eighth Saturday against the Pirates, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Hamstring tightness forced Estrada out of Wednesday's game against the Mets and prevented him from starting Friday, but it seems to no longer be a problem heading into Saturday's contest. The 28-year-old has gone 4-for-16 with two RBI and three runs scored across his last five games. Rotowire.com Today, 3:04 pm
    • Idle against lefty
Frelick isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: The left-handed bat of Frelick will step out of the lineup Saturday as the Brewers prepare to face lefty Carlos Rodon. Joey Wiemer will fill in as Milwaukee's left fielder and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:29 pm

    • Back in lineup
Jones (back) is starting in left field Saturday against the Astros.

Advice: Back stiffness caused Jones to exit Tuesday's game early and has kept him sidelined for the Rockies' last two games. Now seemingly healthy, the 25-year-old will look to turn things around at the dish after starting the year with a .469 OPS through 96 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 11:22 am
