    • Big effort in win
Busch went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 7-1 win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Busch has been great so far in his first season with the Cubs, as he's slashing .289/.347/.554 with six home runs and 17 RBI across 24 games. The 26-year-old regularly sits against southpaws, but when a righty is on the mound, Busch looks like a strong fantasy asset at the moment. It helps him that the whole Chicago lineup is clicking during the team's 17-9 start, giving Busch plenty of chances to rack up stats. Rotowire.com 41 minutes ago

    • Expected back Saturday
Lowe (oblique) is expected to be activated from the injured list Saturday, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Lowe has been on a rehab assignment for roughly a week, but he was with the big-league club in Chicago on Friday. He's projected to be activated Saturday to make his season debut and will almost certainly occupy a prominent spot in a struggling Rays' lineup. It will also be notable where Lowe plays defensively, as he started three games in center field during his rehab assignment. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:55 pm

    • Takes first loss
Crawford (1-1) took the loss Friday against the Cubs, allowing four runs (three earned) on 10 hits over six innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Crawford allowed a season-high 10 hits Friday, though he'd still manage to make it through six innings for a second straight quality start. It's the first time that Crawford's allowed more than one run in a start this year -- he now sports an impressive 1.35 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP and 34:11 K:BB across six starts (33.1 innings). He's currently in line for a home matchup with the Giants in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:10 pm
    • Kyle Schwarber homers, walks twice in blowout
Kyle Schwarber homered and walked twice against the Padres on Friday.

Advice: The Phillies connected on five homers in the blowout win, and Schwarber’s came as the leadoff hitter in the first. The 31-year-old has hit seven homers on the season, and he’ll likely be among the homer leaders throughout the 2024 campaign. Just keep in mind that the other categories will have their ups-and-downs, to put it nicely. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:28 pm

    • Kutter Crawford sees ERA double in loss
Kutter Crawford yielded four runs — three earned — and 10 hits in six innings Friday in a loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Crawford might not have made it out of the second tonight if Bobby Dalbec hadn’t made a great play on a liner for two outs. Apart from that, Crawford was quite unlucky tonight, giving up 10 hits despite allowing only four hard-hit balls. His ERA doubled, going from 0.66 to 1.35. Next on the schedule for him is a home start versus the Giants. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:25 pm
    • Michael Busch goes 3-for-4 in Cubs’ victory
Michael Busch went 3-for-4 with a double and a sac fly against the Red Sox on Friday.

Advice: Busch didn’t hit the ball very well tonight, but he hit it to all of the right spots. His double, which barely qualified as a hard-hit ball at 95.1 mph, would have been an out if not for the Green Monster. One of his other hits was a dribbler down the third base line that just would not go foul. Busch will take it; he came into this one 0-for-15 with nine strikeouts in his previous four games. • Throwing from 135 feet
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Friday that Dominguez (elbow) has increased his throwing distance to 135 feet, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Dominguez continues to progress in his recovery from Tommy John surgery from last September, and Boone noted that the 21-year-old is "a few weeks" away from playing in a minor-league rehab game. Dominguez appeared in eight games with the Yankees last season, going 8-for-31 with four home runs and seven RBI over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:03 pm

    • Jasson Domínguez (elbow) continues to progress
Yankees’ skipper Aaron Boone told a conglomerate of media members on Friday that Jasson Domínguez (elbow) is only “a few weeks” away from starting a minor league rehab assignment.

Advice: The 21-year-old phenom is working his way back from Tommy John surgery. He recently increased his throwing distance to 130 feet and has progressed nicely in his recovery. If all goes according to plan, he could be ready to join the Yankees in early June — and could wind up making a major impact in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:47 pm

    • Josh Lowe (oblique) nearing return to Rays
Josh Lowe (oblique) told reporters on Friday that his rehab is going great and that he feels that he’s ready to be activated from the injured list as soon as the Rays decide to do so.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder has played in six games during his minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Durham, hitting .227/.346/.364 with a homer, five RBI and a 10/4 K/BB ratio over 26 plate appearances. It sounds like he could be back with the big league club any day now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:53 pm
