  • Andres Giménez hits first homer of 2024 vs. Astros
    Andrés Giménez went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.



    Advice: Giménez hit his first home run of the season on Tuesday when he took Cade Smith deep to right for a two-run bomb. Giménez closes out the first month of the season with a line of .280/.347/.374 to go with one homer, 17 RBI, and 17 runs scored.     Marcus Semien went 2-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two runs scored in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.

    Advice: Semien played the role of catalyst for the Rangers on Tuesday night, as he would eventually come around to score on both of his hits on the evening in a game the Rangers won handily by a score of 7-1.   • Massey homers in win over Blue Jays
    Michael Massey went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

    Advice: Massey took a second-inning pitch from Jose Berríos and deposited it 404 feet for his first home run of the season. It was all the Royals would need on the day. Massey has returned to an everyday role since coming off the injured list a little over a week ago. He’s slashing just .212/.212/.333 with five RBI, but he should get it going and remains firmly on the radar for 15-team fantasy leagues and deeper. Rotoworld Today, 8:09 pm
     
  • Mendick homers, drives in two in loss to Twins
    Danny Mendick went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the White Sox loss to the Twins.



    Advice: Mendick blasted his first homer of the season into left field to score Andrew Benintendi and give the White Sox a 4-2 lead. It was a rare, brief display of power from Mendick, who entered the day with 11 career home runs in seven seasons. He’s riding a three-game hit streak but can be left on waivers at this time.   • Nabs second steal
    Morel went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Mets.

    Advice: The steal was his second of the season, and both pilfers have come in his last eight contests. Morel is struggling to get going with his bat however, and through 29 games he's slashing a meager .215/.292/.374 with four homers, 14 RBI and 17 runs. Rotowire.com Today, 7:46 pm

  • Turang drives in three as Brewers down Rays
    Brice Turang went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBI, and a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the Rays.

    Advice: Turang singled in the second inning to bring home Jackson Chourio, giving the Brewers an early 2-0 lead, but that was just the start of a strong night for the young second baseman. Turang would later double in the seventh inning, driving in two more runs to put the Brewers up 8-2. Turang has upped his RBI total to 12 on the season and his hitting a solid .312 through the first month of the season.

  • Vidal Bruján has two hits in win over Rockies
    Vidal Bruján went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in a win over the Rockies on Tuesday.

    Advice: Bruján has now started four of the last five games for the Marlins, playing either third base or shortstop. While his defense has been questionable, he’s slashing .275/.341/.400 on the season.   • Luis Garcia drives in lone run for Nats in loss
    Luis Garcia went 1-for-3 with one RBI in the Nationals’ loss to the Rangers on Tuesday.

    Advice: Garcia got the scoring started for the Nationals in the top of the first when he singled home C.J. Abrams after Abrams led things off with a single and a steal. Unfortunately, that would be all the offense the Nationals could muster, as they were held to just one hit the rest of the way in the 7-1 defeat.
