    Advice: Caratini pinch-hit for Jake Meyers in the 10th frame and delivered the game-winning home run. The long ball was his second of the campaign and marked his third straight game scoring a run. While Caratini is slashing .314/.368/.571 with eight runs scored and eight RBI in 38 at-bats, he's been overshadowed by starting catcher Yainer Diaz, who has also been excellent at the plate.     Advice: Wells got the Yankees on the board in the third inning, leading off the frame with a 414-foot blast off Dean Kremer, his first of the season. The 24-year-old Wells has started to turn things around at the plate -- he's now 7-for-16 with three extra-base hits in his last four games after going 0-for-21 in his previous nine contests.     Alex Bregman went 1-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Guardians.

    Advice: The Astros found themselves down 3-0 after the first inning, but Bregman’s 426-foot blast, which marked his first homer of the season, drew things even at 3-3. It’s been a slow start to the season for Bregman, who entered the day slashing .216/.287/.268. He’s hit safely in four of his last five games and could be on the verge of finally heating up.   • Caratini walk of homer lifts Astros over Guardians
    Victor Caratini went 1-for-1 with a home run and two RBI in the Astros’ win over the Guardians on Tuesday.

    Advice: Caratini’s second home run of the season came in dramatic fashion while also helping the Astros complete a comeback that started with a three-run deficit in the first inning. On a night when the Astros homered three times and sent two three-run bombs into the seats, it was Caratini’s two-run homer in extras that sent fans home happy. Down 9-8 in the bottom of the 10th and with two outs, Caratini was brought on to pinch hit for Jake Meyers and wasted little time at the plate to secure the win, ripping a 1-0 fastball from Hunter Gaddis into the stands for the walk-off win.     Andrés Giménez went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Astros.



    Advice: Giménez hit his first home run of the season on Tuesday when he took Cade Smith deep to right for a two-run bomb. Giménez closes out the first month of the season with a line of .280/.347/.374 to go with one homer, 17 RBI, and 17 runs scored.     Mike Tauchman went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in a loss to the Mets.

    Advice: Tauchman had the Cubs’ only extra-base hit of the night and is now slashing .307/.435/.530 on the season. Perhaps more importantly, he was in the lineup and hitting sixth with a left-handed pitcher on the mound, which suggests that he’ll be an everyday player for the Cubs while Cody Bellinger and Seiya Suzuki are sidelined.   • DJ Stewart homers in win over Cubs
    DJ Stewart went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

    Advice: Stewart took a sixth-inning pitch from Javier Assad and hit it 388 feet at 104.3 mph off the bat. It was the Mets’ only extra-base hit of the night, but the only one they’d need. Stewart now has four home runs and 14 RBI on the season, but his playing time has been less consistent since J.D. Martinez was activated. With Martinez at DH, the Mets are less inclined to play Stewart in the outfield, which will make it hard to roster him in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Today, 8:25 pm
