    Fairchild went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Padres.

    Advice: Fairchild took Enyel De Los Santos deep to center in the seventh to bring the Reds within two runs. It was his first home run of the year, first hit since April 22, and first RBI since had had two April 20. The 28-year-old has not been overly productive when given the chance to be in the lineup, as he's slashing .200/.273/.267 with six RBI, seven runs, five steals and a 5:12 BB:K in 67 plate appearances.     Smith went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and scored twice during Tuesday's 7-1 win over the Nationals.

    Advice: Smith's second-inning single and sixth-inning solo shot give the 26-year-old infielder his third multi-hit game in his last five contests. He is 7-for-14 two homers, three RBI and three runs scored during that stretch and now boats an impressive .917 OPS on the season while filling in as Josh Jung's (wrist) replacement.     Advice: Donovan sparked the Cardinals' fifth-inning rally with his homer. The utility man had hit safely in five straight games before going 0-for-4 in the matinee contest. Donovan is slashing .228/.311/.377 with three homers, 16 RBI, 13 runs scored and no stolen bases over 132 plate appearances this season.     JJ Bleday delivered his second and third homers of the year Tuesday as the A’s topped the Pirates 5-2.

  • Tommy Pham doubles in two-hit game vs. Twins
    Tommy Pham went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Twins.

    Advice: Pham continued his hot start with the White Sox on Tuesday and has now hit safely in four of his first five games. His RBI single in the fourth gave him his first RBI on the season and put the White Sox up 2-0, and he later came around to score in the third inning after hitting his first double of the year. Pham is now batting.350 on the year, but is stuck in a lineup that offers little to no run production. He can’t be relied on for much at this time as far as fantasy is concerned.

  • Larnach totals two hits, one RBI vs. White Sox
    Trevor Larnach went 2-for-4 with one RBI and a run scored in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

    Advice: Larnach was part of a two-run ninth inning that saw the Twins tie the game and later take the lead thanks to his RBI single that scored Carlos Correa. Larnach closes out the first month of the season, hitting a solid .394, and is riding a five-game hitting streak heading into May.   • Jarren Duran, has three hits, SB in win
    Jarren Durran went 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI, and a steal in a 4-0 win over the Giants on Tuesday.

    Advice: All three of Duran’s hits were singles but each of them was at least 107 mph off the bat. In fact, he had three of the six hardest-hit balls of the game. His stolen base was also his ninth of the season and the lead-off hitter is slashing .268/.338/.386. The power has not been there this year, but if Duran keeps hitting the ball hard and getting on base then he’s going to rack up steals and continue to be useful in fantasy leagues.
