    Carlos Correa went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, three RBI, and a home run against the Athletics on Thursday.

    Advice: Correa has been absolutely on fire at the plate lately. He’s hitting 18-for-33 (.545) with two home runs and nine RBI in his last eight games.   • J.D. Martinez hits walk-off blast against Marlins
    J.D. Martinez slugged a game-winning two-run homer on Thursday, lifting the Mets to a 3-2 walk-off victory over the Marlins.

    Advice: Martinez’s walk-off shot came against Marlins stopper Tanner Scott in the bottom of the ninth inning and was his sixth round-tripper of the year. It was also somehow his first career walk-off homer in 14 seasons in the big leagues since 2011. He’s now hitting .271 with 21 RBI in 41 games for the Mets this year.   • Chisholm homers, steals base in loss Thursday
    Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base against the Mets on Thursday.

    Advice: The home run was his 10th and the stolen base was his 13th. He hit a solo shot off Mets reliever Drew Smith in the seventh inning, which gave the Marlins a 2-0 lead. Chisholm is now hitting .254 on the season with 33 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:55 pm

    Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 8-3 loss to the Angels.

    Advice: Walker has gone 10-for-45 (.222) with two homers and eight RBI over 11 contests in June. The first baseman is up to 13 long balls, 42 RBI, 40 runs scored, 12 doubles, two stolen bases and a .255/.340/.458 slash line through 68 games this season. Walker's power is a bit down from the last two years, but that's at least partially due to bad luck -- entering Wednesday, he had a 50.0 percent hard-hit rate and a 15.1 percent barrel rate this season, up from 40.4 percent and 11.4 percent, respectively, in 2023.     Christian Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Angels on Wednesday.

    Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-4 and drove in a run on Wednesday night as the Marlins fell to the Mets at Citi Field.

    Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old smacked a run-scoring single off of David Peterson in the fifth inning that pulled the Marlins to within a run at 5-4. That would wind up being the extent of their scoring in the contest. With his two-hit effort, Chisholm is now hitting .250/.318/.425 to go along with nine homers, 32 RBI and 12 stolen bases.     Advice: Correa singled five times, finishing 5-for-6 with an RBI and also scored three runs in this one, as Minnesota racked up a staggering 24 hits in a back-and-forth slugfest at Target Field. It’s pretty incredible the impact that a five-hit effort can have as it raises his full-season batting average from .271 to a near-elite .290 mark.
