      Advice: Gelof missed just under three weeks with an oblique strain. The second baseman returned to the No. 6 spot in the lineup, which is where he was at just before the injury after starting the year batting second. He's slashing a poor .188/.250/.323 with three home runs, seven RBI, 11 runs scored and four stolen bases over 25 contests this season.     • Bo Naylor drives in two in win over Rangers
      Bo Naylor went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Naylor doubled in the second inning to score Estevan Florial and Kyle Manzardo, giving the Guardians their first runs of the day and an early 2-0 lead. He would later score on a single by Andrés Giménez to push the lead to 3-0. Naylor’s hit ended a three-game hitless streak as the catcher has struggled out of the gate to start the year.       Andrew Vaughn crushed a pair of homers to power the White Sox to a 4-0 victory over the Nationals in the second game of Tuesday’s doubleheader.

      Advice: Vaughn was a one-man wrecking crew in this one and appears to be coming out of his extended slump at the outset of the season with three homers over his last four contests. He took Nationals starter Parker Mitchell deep for a three-run shot in the third inning before capping off the multi-homer effort with an eighth-inning solo blast off rookie Jackson Rutledge.       Michael Harris II went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in a win over the Cubs on Tuesday.

      Advice: Harris hit a solo shot off of Jameson Taillon in the fourth inning that traveled 426 feet and left the bat at 106.7 mph. It was his fourth home run and 15th RBI of the season. The 23-year-old is one of quite a few Braves hitters who aren’t living up to their typical production early in the season.       Gelof (oblique) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and is starting at second base Tuesday against the Astros.

      Advice: The 24-year-old has been sidelined nearly three weeks by an oblique strain and is back with Oakland after a two-game rehab assignment with Triple-A Las Vegas.       Athletics activated 2B Zack Gelof from the 10-day injured list.

      Advice: Gelof makes his return to Oakland’s lineup following a nearly three-week absence recovering from a left oblique strain. The 24-year-old second baseman was off to a frosty start at the dish, slashing .196/.260/.337 with three homers and four steals in 101 plate appearances over 24 contests prior to landing on the injured list back in late April.     • Nabs steal in win
      Walker went 1-for-4 with a walk, one stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 6-5 win over the Reds.

      Advice: The steal was Walker's first of the year, which is a bit of a surprise since he stole 11 bases last season. He was caught stealing on his first two attempts in 2024. The first baseman has struggled in May, going 8-for-38 (.211) over 11 contests this month.       Adam tossed one scoreless inning to pick up the save Monday against the Red Sox. He walked one and struck out three.

      Advice: With Pete Fairbanks unavailable due to a cut on his throwing hand, Adam was called upon Monday to close the door for his third save. Adam, who served as the Rays' main end-game option while Fairbanks was on the shelf prior to his return on May 11, will likely remain the preferred option until Fairbanks is ready to return from his most recent setback.       Bryan Reynolds went 5-for-5 with two doubles, a home run and two RBI in the victory over the Brewers on Monday.



      Advice: Reynolds boosted his average to .256 on the season with this effort. His power was noticeably down this season as entering Monday his .145 ISO was 51 points lower than his career .196 ISO. Reynolds’ ISO is now up to .171 on the season. More games like this will help him get back to his career level quickly.
