    • Tosses clean rehab inning
Phillips retired all three batters he faced -- including two by strikeout -- in a rehab outing with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday.

Advice: Phillips needed just 11 pitches to get through the frame. The appearance was the first for the closer since he went on the IL with a right hamstring strain May 5. Phillips figures to get in one or two more rehab outings before he's deemed ready to return to closing duties with the Dodgers. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Cools off in no-decision
Woo did not factor into the decision Sunday against Washington, allowing three earned runs on five hits and zero walks over six innings. He struck out one.

Advice: Woo finally showed some signs of weakness Sunday, surrendering his first home run of the season and allowing a season-high three earned runs. Even so, the 24-year-old needed just 70 pitches to notch his second consecutive quality start. Despite not topping 80 pitches in any outing this season, Woo sits at 2-0 with a sparkling 1.66 ERA and 0.60 WHIP in 21.2 innings this season. He is tentatively scheduled to start Friday's game against the Angels. Rotowire.com Today, 7:08 pm

    • Bryan Woo delivers quality start against Nationals
Bryan Woo pitched six innings and allowed three runs Sunday versus the Nationals.

Advice: Woo got just three missed swings and one strikeout today, but he proved moderately effective in allowing only five hard-hit balls and five hits. The lone extra-base hit he gave up was a solo shot to Joey Gallo. Woo will face the Angels at home next weekend, making him a solid play in mixed leagues. Rotoworld Today, 4:59 pm

    • Earns seventh consecutive win
Sale (8-1) picked up the victory Sunday against the Pirates, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Sale's scoreless inning streak was snapped at 21.2 innings, but that's about the only negative to take from his performance, as he continues to mow down the competition. It was the seventh straight start in which Sale has earned a win and the sixth consecutive outing in which he's allowed one or fewer runs. Sale, who has not been a beacon of health over recent seasons, has not missed a turn this season, already throwing more innings than in all but one season since 2019. Through 10 starts, Sale has a 2.12 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, 78 strikeouts and a K/BB rate of 8.7 over 63.2 innings. His next start is slated for next weekend, when Atlanta welcomes Oakland to town for a three-game set. Rotowire.com Today, 4:44 pm

    • Alexis Díaz fans two to earn 10th save
Alexis Díaz struck out both batters he faced for a save Sunday against the Dodgers.

Advice: The Reds were up 4-0 to start the ninth, so Díaz didn’t enter then. Instead, he came in after Carson Spiers allowed Shohei Ohtani and Freddie Freeman to reach with one out, creating the save opportunity. Díaz then retired Teoscar Hernández and Andy Pages to end the game. It was the 10th save in 12 opportunities for Díaz, who came into the day having allowed eight earned runs in 7 2/3 innings this month. Rotoworld Today, 4:29 pm

    • Grabs 10th save
Diaz struck out both batters he faced to pick up his 10th save of the season Sunday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Diaz closed the door on the Dodgers for the second consecutive game, though he ran both counts full and needed 16 pitches to record the final two outs. It was the fourth consecutive scoreless outing for Diaz, who appears to be turning things around after allowing 17 baserunners and 10 runs (nine earned) while blowing a save and earning two losses over his previous seven appearances spanning 5.2 innings between April 29 and May 19. • Goes deep in win
Cowser went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Cowser had gone 1-for-18 over the previous six games, though he's maintained a starting role in the Orioles' lineup despite the slump. The outfielder burst onto the scene early in the season, but he's batting a poor .185 (12-for-65) with five extra-base hits and six RBI over 21 contests in May. Cowser is up to seven homers, 24 RBI, 17 runs scored, three stolen bases and a .248/.341/.475 slash line through 164 plate appearances. His strikeout rate has also ticked up to 30.5 percent, which makes it tough for him to get back on track. If Cowser's struggles worsen, Kyle Stowers or Austin Hays could be candidates to see more playing time. Rotowire.com Today, 4:03 pm

    • Craig Kimbrel locks down 12th save in win
Craig Kimbrel pitched a scoreless ninth to slam the door on a 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: The save was Kimbrel’s 12th on the season and his third this week alone. The 35-year-old scared fantasy managers (and Orioles fans) in early May when he went through a rough patch that had him temporarily removed from the closer’s role. However, this is who Kimbrel is at this point. The veteran now has seven straight scoreless appearances and a 3.15 ERA on the season. He remains a solid closer option in fantasy leagues on one of the best teams in baseball. Rotoworld Today, 3:53 pm
    • Locks down 12th save
Kimbrel struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 4-1 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Kimbrel hasn't allowed a walk or a hit over his last 4.2 innings, and he's pitched 6.2 consecutive scoreless innings. He's earned a save in each of his last four outings, retaking the closer role after a shaky stretch in late April and early May saw him take a short stint in lower-leverage assignments. Kimbrel is 12-for-15 in save chances this season while posting a 3.15 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB over 20 innings. He's also collected four holds and a 4-1 record, but it looks like most of his appearances will be in the ninth inning going forward. Rotowire.com Today, 3:52 pm
