    • Mendoza: Kodai Senga won’t return in first half
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza confirmed Saturday that Kodai Senga (shoulder) will not return prior to next month’s All-Star break.

Advice: It became apparent several weeks ago that Senga, who has been on the shelf since spring training due to a right shoulder issue, simply wasn’t making enough progress to return to New York prior to the All-Star break. The 31-year-old righty has been in a bit of a holding pattern working on his throwing mechanics and won’t progress to throwing a bullpen session until next week. Rotoworld 27 minutes ago

    • Produces game-winning hit
Hernandez went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Friday's 2-1 extra-innings win over the Yankees.

Advice: Pitching dominated the matchup between two of the league's top teams, and Hernandez was responsible for half of the Dodgers' four hits. His second knock came in the 11th inning, when he doubled to left field to plate Los Angeles' only two runs of the game, which were enough to result in victory. Hernandez has three RBI over his past two contests to move into the team lead with 41 RBI on the campaign. Rotowire.com Today, 6:44 am
    • Bobby Miller averages 97.4 mph on Friday at AAA
Bobby Miller (shoulder) allowed two runs (one earned) over four innings on Friday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: The positive news here for fantasy managers is that Miller averaged 97.4 mph on his four-seam fastball in this one and was able to generate nine swinging strikes, nearly all of them on his secondary offerings. He struck out two and also issued a pair of walks, needing 85 pitches (50 strikes) to get through four-plus frames. Barring something unexpected, the hard-throwing 25-year-old righty should return to Los Angeles at some point next week. Rotoworld Today, 6:32 am

    • Ketel Marte crushes 13th homer in blowout loss
Ketel Marte walloped a two-run homer on Friday in the Diamondbacks’ one-sided loss at the hands of the Padres.

Advice: Marte broke up a potential shutout with a seventh-inning blast off Padres reliever Wandy Peralta for his 13th big fly of the season. The 30-year-old second baseman has been a model of consistency in an otherwise turbulent campaign for the defending National League champions this season, batting .282 with 41 runs scored, 13 homers, 35 RBI and one steal through 63 games. Unfortunately, the stolen bases probably aren’t ever coming back to his early-career level, but he remains a reliable four-category fantasy contributor at the keystone in the prime of his career. • Three hits in comeback win
Witt went 3-for-5 with a triple, one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 10-9 win over the Mariners.

Advice: Witt's triple was his seventh of the year, putting him second in the majors behind Boston's Jarren Duran (nine). It was a timely three-bagger for Witt, as it tied the game in the ninth inning, and he went home as the winning run on a Nelson Velazquez fielder's choice. This was Witt's third three-hit effort in his last six games. He's up to a .323/.375/.568 slash line with 11 home runs, 47 RBI, 56 runs scored and 19 stolen bases over 64 contests this season. • Crushes homer in loss
Marte went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Friday's 10-3 loss to the Padres.

Advice: The second baseman is on a roll to begin June, going 11-for-26 (.423) with three homers and six RBI over his first seven games of the month. Marte is up to 13 long balls, 35 RBI, 41 runs scored, one stolen base and a .282/.340/.508 slash line over 63 contests this season. Marte's topped the 20-homer mark just twice in his first nine major-league seasons, but he's on pace to do it for the second year in a row. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:50 pm

    • Witt Jr. triples home tying run, scores winner
Bobby WItt Jr. went 3-for-5 with an RBI triple to help the Royals to a 10-9 win over the Mariners on Friday.

Advice: Superstar gonna superstar. With the Royals trailing 9-8, Witt Jr. spanked a triple down the left-field line to score the tying run, and he scored on a fielder’s choice to give Kansas City the win in a game they trailed 7-0 after the top half of the first inning. Witt Jr. has tripled seven time while driving in 47 runs, and remains as good — if not better — than any fantasy option at his or any other position. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:09 pm

    • Teoscar Hernández delivers in 11th in Dodgers’ win
Teoscar Hernández went 2-for-4 and doubled in two runs in the 11th to propel the Dodgers past the Yankees 2-1 on Friday.

Advice: It was a scoreless game until Hernández delivered the contest’s first big hit off Ian Hamilton in the 11th. It actually gave him his first multi-RBI game since May 14. He was often leading the league in RBI for the first month and a half, but he came into this one having driven in a total of three runs in last 20 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:55 pm
    • Santander crushes 13th home run in win Friday
Anthony Santander went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run against the Rays on Friday.

Advice: The home run was Santander’s 13th of the season and came against Rays starter Aaron Civale. While his average is a little lower than he’d like it to be this year at .227, the power is still there for Santander. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:50 pm
