    • Homers in loss
Raley went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to Miami.

Advice: Raley put the Mariners on the board with a two-run blast in the fourth inning. He entered Sunday's game in a 4-for-23 (.174) skid over his previous nine games. Raley has gone 16-for-59 (.271) with five home runs in 21 games this month. His season slash line is up to .263/.310/.463 with 18 extra-base hits and 22 RBI through 203 plate appearances. • Three hits, including homer in win
Naylor went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Naylor secured a single in the first inning before notching a double and coming around to score in the third. He later added his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth frame, taking reliever Brendon Little deep for a solo shot, expanding Cleveland's lead to 6-3. Naylor has now tallied at least one hit in nine of the team's last 11 contests, batting .372 with four home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:54 pm

    • Provides offense Sunday
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games. Assuming he stays healthy, Morel could surpass that figure in 2024 as the team is still a few games shy of the season's midpoint. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:27 pm

    • Christopher Morel slugs two-run homer in loss
Christopher Morel slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Mets.

Advice: The Cubs weren’t able to get anything going over six innings against Luis Severino, but they started to battle back as soon as he exited. Morel finally got them on the board with a 420-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run blast off of Dedniel Nunez in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old slugger finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .203/.304/.395 with 15 homers, 45 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:21 pm

    • Progressing in recovery
Manager David Bell indicated this weekend that McLain, who underwent shoulder surgery in late March, should be ready to start swinging a bat soon, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports. "He's pretty close," Bell said. When he starts swinging, there will be a step-by-step progression from dry swinging to tee work to soft toss, etc. "It's a very well-thought out progression that he'll have to take his time with."

Advice: Bell alluded to McLain being ready for action at some point in August but also noted it's a long process between now and then. The 2021 first-rounder hit 16 home runs with an .864 OPS in his rookie season last year over 403 plate appearances, so his return could potentially give the Reds, a team that ranks just 21st in OPS, some extra pop down the stretch. • David Fry (elbow) considered day-to-day
David Fry is considered day-to-day after exiting Sunday’s game against the Blue Jays with inflammation in his right elbow.

Advice: It sounds like it’s just a minor issue and the 28-year-old slugger won’t require a trip to the injured list. While his pace has cooled over the last few weeks, Fry has still been a force in the middle of the Guardians’ lineup this season — slashing .312/.429/.526 with eight homers, 31 RBI and four stolen bases in only 189 plate appearances. • Sonny Gray electric in win over Giants
Sonny Gray allowed one run on one hit in seven innings in a win over the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Gray also struck out eight and walked none while posting a 30 percent whiff rate and 39 percent CSW. He only made one real mistake on the day, allowing a solo home run to Patrick Bailey in the seventh inning. The Giants averaged just 81.6 mph on all balls put in play during the game, and Gray now has a 2.81 ERA heading into a start against the Reds at home next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:09 pm

    • Josh Naylor with three more hits, home run
Josh Naylor went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, and two runs scored on Sunday in a 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Naylor is scalding hot right now. He has multiple hits in six of his last 13 games with four home runs and 13 RBI over that same span. His .835 OPS is higher than that of Fernando Tatis Jr., Pete Alonso, and Corey Seager. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:36 pm

    • Luke Raley with three hits, homer in loss
Luke Raley went 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and two runs scored on Sunday against the Marlins.

Advice: The Mariners were down 6-0 early Sunday and Raley did everything he could to drag them back in the game. He’s put a miserable April behind him and brought his full-season slash line up to .263/.310/.463 with nine home runs and five stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:25 pm
