    • Turner expects to miss six-plus weeks with injury
Trea Turner told reporters that he expects to miss at least six weeks with his hamstring injury.

Advice: Turner told reporters that anything prior to a six-week return would “be a win.” It’s a significant blow for both fantasy managers and the Phillies — and Turner himself, of course — as the shortstop was once again playing at an elite level. Edmundo Sosa should see most of the reps at shortstop while Turner is out, but he’s a far cry from the player that Turner is. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:18 pm

    • Out at least six weeks
Turner (hamstring) said Saturday that he expects to miss at least six weeks with his left hamstring strain and that a return sooner than that "would be a win," Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Turner strained his left hamstring Friday against the Cubs, and he was placed on the 10-day injured list a day later. It's a big blow for the Phillies, as Turner has been one of their most productive players at the plate this season with an .852 OPS, second on the team behind Alec Bohm. Six weeks would take Turner to a potential return in mid-June, though the star shortstop could be out until July depending on how he progresses in his rehab. Philadelphia appears set to turn to Edmundo Sosa as the primary shortstop with Turner on the shelf, and Bryson Stott could perhaps shift over from second base on occasion, though Stott hasn't made an appearance at shortstop since 2022. • Headed to IL
The Phillies placed Turner on the 10-day injured list Saturday due to a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Turner left before the fifth inning of Friday's game against the Cubs after straining his left hamstring running bases in the fourth frame. The 30-year-old shortstop was off to a hot start this season, slashing .343/.392/.460 with 10 doubles, 10 stolen bases, two home runs and nine RBI over 148 plate appearances. Edmundo Sosa is slated to take over as the primary shortstop while Turner recovers from his injury. The Phillies recalled infielder Kody Clemens from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. • Turner heads to 10-day IL with hamstring injury
Phillies placed INF Trea Turner on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Turner was removed from Friday’s game against the Giants with soreness in his hamstring, and the Phillies will be without the 30-year-old shortstop for the next week-plus — likely longer. Kody Clemens is up as the corresponding transaction. Edmundo Sosa will likely see most of the reps at shortstop while Turner recovers. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:49 am

    • On base three times
Caballero went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a walk Friday against the Mets.

Advice: Caballero collected a pair of hits for the second consecutive game and also drew his first walk in 12 starts. He also remains busy on the basepaths, though he was caught stealing for the fifth time in 14 attempts on the campaign. Caballero hasn't offered much power across 113 plate appearances, but he does have 14 runs scored and 12 RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:07 am

    • Vidal steals two bags, doubles twice in loss
Vidal Bruján doubled twice and stole two bases in a loss to the Athletics on Friday.

Advice: Bruján drove in the only run of the game for the Marlins in the ninth with a double off Lucas Erceg. The pair of two-baggers with a single now have Bruján slashing .298/.377/.447, and the swipes are his first of the season. Especially with Luis Arraez heading to San Diego, Bruján should continue to see a lot of playing time, and so far he’s taken advantage of his run. Rotoworld Friday, 9:07 pm

    • Removed with sore hamstring
Turner was removed from Friday's game against the Giants due to left hamstring soreness, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Turner stole second base and then scored from second on a passed ball during the fourth inning, but he was replaced on defense by Edmundo Sosa before the fifth frame. It remains unknown how severe Turner's injury is, but the Phillies should offer an update on his status in the near future. Rotowire.com Friday, 5:44 pm

    • Trea Turner leaves game with sore hamstring
Trea Turner was forced to leave Friday’s matchup against the Giants due to soreness in his left hamstring.

Advice: The speedy 30-year-old shortstop singled, stole a base and raced all the way around from second to score on a wild pitch as Bryce Harper walked in the fifth inning, but it seemed to have taken a toll on his hamstring as he was replaced when the Phillies took the field. The severity of the issue — and whether or not he’ll miss any time — remain unclear. More should be known on his status prior to Saturday’s game against the Giants. All fantasy managers can do now is sit tight and hope for the best. Rotoworld Friday, 5:39 pm

    • Trea Turner exits game with injury on Friday night
Trea Turner was removed from Friday night’s contest against the Giants in the fifth inning due to an apparent injury.

Advice: Uh oh. That’s never what you want to hear. The 30-year-old superstar literally created a run on his own in the bottom of the fourth inning as he smacked a two-out single, stole second base and then raced around to score from second base on walk by Bryce Harper as the ball bounced away from the catcher. It’s possible that he tweaked a hamstring or something while zooming around the bases, but hopefully it’s nothing major. Look for the Phillies to provide an update on his status shortly.
