    • Gausman allows one earned run in win over ChiSox
      Kevin Gausman allowed one earned and four hits over six innings while earning the win on Tuesday against the White Sox.

      Advice: Gausman didnt’ face much resistance in this one, as the Blue Jays grabbed an early 3-0 lead in the second, which more or less put Gausman in cruise control against one of the league’s worst offenses. Gausman earned a win in three of his five stars this month, and will have a chance to start June off on a strong note when he makes his next scheduled start on Monday against the Orioles. Josh Smith had an RBI single in the third inning and Corey Seager continued his power surge with a three-run home run in the fifth.       Taijuan Walker allowed six runs (five earned) in six innings and took the loss against the Giants on Monday.



      Advice: Walker allowed nine hits, two walks and struck out four. He completed six innings for the fourth time in six starts this year, but the five earned runs allowed increased his ERA to 5.51. After starting 3-0, Walker hasn’t won any of his last three starts.
