• Goes deep again
Massey went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and two runs scored in Monday's win over Detroit.

Advice: Massey set the tone for the 8-3 win with a solo shot in the second inning. He later doubled and scored in the sixth. Massey has gone 8-for-14 (.571) with four extra-base hits over his last four games. The recent hot streak has boosted his slash line to .284/.300/.505 with 11 extra-base hits and 19 RBI through 27 games. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago

  • Nolan Schanuel hits three-run homer in Angels’ win
Nolan Schanuel went 2-for-5 and hit a three-run homer Monday as the Angels outlasted the Astros 9-7.

Advice: Schanuel’s exit velocity numbers aren’t the least bit impressive, but he’s having enough success pulling flyballs that he’s now hit five homers, even though his longest drive of the year is 381 feet. We still wouldn’t want to roster him in mixed leagues at the moment, but it bodes well for the future. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

  • Siani hits first home run Monday
Michael Siani went 2-for-4 with a steal and a three-run home run and four RBI against the Orioles on Monday.

Advice: Siani started the scoring with an RBI single off Dean Kremer in the second inning and also delivered the knockout blow in the fourth inning with a three-run homer off Kremer. The home run was his first of the year and the steal was his fifth. Siani is hitting .238 with just a .612 OPS this year. Rotoworld Today, 7:52 pm

  • Tallies three hits Monday
Keith went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: While Keith is batting just .214 overall, he's been better in May with a .350 batting average across 14 games. It's a promising development for the rookie, who batted .306 across two levels in the minors last season. It can take young players some time to translate minor-league production into MLB success, but it seems like Keith is starting to turn the corner, and he has the talent to finish his debut campaign on a high note. • Goes deep in loss
Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Monday's 8-3 loss to the Royals.

Advice: Carpenter continued a strong month of May, as he's batting .325 this month with three home runs, nine runs scored and 10 RBI across 14 games. He's now up to six long balls overall to go along with a solid .893 OPS. Carpenter still sits regularly against southpaws, but he's producing enough against righties to be an effective fantasy contributor. Rotowire.com Today, 7:29 pm
  • Carpenter leaves the yard Monday
Kerry Carpenter went 2-for-3 with a double, a solo home run, a sacrifice, two runs scored and two RBI against the Royals on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Carpenter’s sixth of the season. He’s hitting .285 with an .893 OPS with the majority of his at-bats coming against right-handed pitching. It can certainly be frustrating for fantasy managers when Carpenter is on the bench against left-handed starts or gets pinch-hit for late in games. He was 16-for-68 (.235) against left-handed pitchers in 2023, though, so it’s hard to argue the logic even on nights when it’s readily apparent that Carpenter is the Tigers’ best offensive weapon.

  • Massey has three-hit game Monday
Michael Massey went 3-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and two runs scored against the Tigers on Monday.

Advice: Massey started the scoring with a home run in the bottom of the second and later doubled, but his most impactful hit of the night was likely his 101 mph line drive single that hit Tigers starter Reese Olson in the hip and knocked him out of the game. The home run was Massey’s fifth of the year. He’s off to a really nice start as he’s hitting .284 with an .805 OPS and has 19 RBI in 27 games this season.

  • Josh Bell delievers walk-off hit against Brewers
Josh Bell went 2-for-4 with a game-winning RBI single on Monday, leading the Marlins to a 3-2 walk-off victory over the Brewers in a 10-inning marathon.

Advice: Bell sent the Marlins faithful home in winning fashion with a sharp ground-ball single to right field in the 10th inning after Miami rallied in the previous frame to send the contest to extra innings. The switch-hitting 31-year-old slugger is batting .235/.320/.372 with 21 runs scored, six homers and 25 RBI across 207 plate appearances. Rotoworld Today, 7:05 pm

  • Otto Lopez contributes game-tying hit vs. Brewers
Otto Lopez hit a game-tying single in the ninth inning on Monday in the Marlins eventual extra-inning win over the Brewers.

Advice: Lopez came through with a clutch single to right field against Brewers closer Trevor Megill, which allowed Nick Gordon to race around and score easily from second base. The 25-year-old finds himself playing regularly for the Marlins at the moment and has come through with a solid .296/.339/.519 triple-slash line with three homers and two steals in 59 plate appearances so far.
