      Advice: Jones underwent a precautionary MRI that came back clean, but will still have his rehab assignment paused for at least a few days to rest and recover before getting back into game action.       Jones (back) has had his rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque paused because of right knee soreness stemming from a slide, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: A MRI came back clean for Jones, who hasn't played for Albuquerque since Friday. The outfielder was placed on the 10-day injured list April 30 with a lower-back strain and had just started his rehab assignment Wednesday. It seemed like the 26-year-old was nearing a return and was trending toward being activated after Albuquerque's game Sunday, but this latest development scuttled that timeline.       Advice: In his Monday newsletter, Wilson mentioned that “all looked good” with Garcia’s MRI and that “Garcia could be available Tuesday in the opener against the Phillies.” That’s a huge sigh of relief for both the Rangers and fantasy managers. It’s not for certain that Garcia will actually be in the lineup on Tuesday, but it sounds like the slugging outfielder will avoid the IL and not miss many more games, if he misses any at all.
