    • Nearing rehab stint
Jones (back) will join Triple-A Albuquerque on Tuesday but will not immediately begin a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones is traveling to Albuquerque with Kris Bryant (back), but he's behind his teammate in his recovery process. He'll continue to ramp up his activity prior to appearing in games, but the Rockies hope he'll be ready to return from the 10-day injured list by late May. Rotowire.com Today, 7:14 am

    • Could be activated Tuesday
Buxton (knee) ran the bases at Target Field on Saturday, and the Twins are optimistic he can be activated from the injured list Tuesday, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Advice: The Twins have an off day Monday, but it sounds like Buxton will return when the team begins a series at home Tuesday against the Yankees. Buxton will run again Tuesday to test his knee before the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:39 pm

    • Rebounds against White Sox
Allen (4-2) yielded six hits and a walk over six scoreless frames Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the White Sox.

Advice: Allen wasn't incredibly sharp Sunday but was able to work out of multiple sticky situations while Cleveland combined for a shutout against the White Sox. It was a much-needed bounce-back after he was tagged with seven runs in just 2.1 innings against Detroit in his last start. Allen forced 11 whiffs Sunday, his highest total since his season debut March 29. It was his first scoreless outing since April 3, which was also the last time he completed at least six frames. Allen is sporting a 5.56 ERA with a 36:15 K:BB through 45.1 innings. His next start is currently lined up to be at home against the Twins. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:22 pm
    • Two hits, swipes bag Sunday
Julien went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Julien led the game off with a single and added another base knock in the top of the eighth, stealing second base and scoring on an RBI double by Max Kepler in the frame. The stolen base was his fifth of the season and third over the last four games. Julien is now batting .224 with seven home runs, 15 RBI, 21 runs scored and five stolen bases over 125 at-bats in 40 games this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:23 pm
    • Drives in two
Rafaela went 1-for-3 with a two-RBI double during Sunday's 3-2 win over Washington.

Advice: Rafaela scored Garrett Cooper and Vaughn Grissom in the second inning, notching a double off MacKenzie Gore. Rafaela has generated at least one hit in 11 of his last 13 games, batting .326 with 12 RBI and six runs scored during that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:22 pm
    • Too wild Sunday
Harrison allowed three runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Walks have become an issue for Harrison in May -- he's issued 12 of them over 17 innings across his last three starts while adding 14 strikeouts in that span. The Reds weren't fully able to capitalize Sunday, scraping together three runs in the first inning but leaving four runners on base over the next four frames before finding more luck against the Giants' bullpen. Harrison has allowed just four runs over his last 23 innings and now has a 3.42 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 45:17 K:BB through 50 innings across nine starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Rockies. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:10 pm
    • Kyle Harrison walks five in no-decision
Kyle Harrison allowed three runs in five innings Sunday in a no-decision versus the Reds.

Advice: All of the runs came in the first, which featured a hit by pitch, two walks and then a near-grand slam from Jeimer Candelario that instead resulted in a bases-clearing double. Harrison went on to allow just one hard-hit ball over the subsequent four innings, but he did walk three more batters. He’s walked 12 in his three starts this month, but he has a 2.12 ERA in the process. In April, he walked a total of five batters in six starts, though he had a 4.09 ERA then. Now he just needs to put it all together. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:56 pm
    • Struggles versus Miami
Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals. • Rafaela drives in two runs in win over Nationals
Ceddanne Rafaela went 1-for-3 with two RBI in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Rafaela had a ground rule double off of MacKenzie Gore in the second inning and is now up to 22 RBI on the season. The season-long stats don’t look great, but he’s 10-for-34 in May, which is a .323 average. The bigger issue for him is he has 11 strikeouts to just one walk over the same timeframe, which highlights some of the concerns with his profile right now. Still, the 23-year-old figures to play every day for the Red Sox and has the power and speed to remain a useful fantasy play in deeper formats. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:51 pm
