    • Getting rest Wednesday
Bailey is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Bailey will take a seat for the Wednesday afternoon game after he started behind the plate Monday and Tuesday. Curt Casali will spell Bailey at catcher in the series finale. Rotowire.com 3 minutes ago

    • Remains out of lineup
Tucker (shin) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Cardinals, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Tucker exited Monday's 7-4 win over St. Louis after fouling a ball off his right shin and has now missed two straight starts. The Astros are off Thursday, so Tucker could have a shot to return to the lineup Friday, when the club takes on the Angels. Trey Cabbage will cover right field Wednesday. Rotowire.com Today, 8:12 am

    • Escapes with no-decision
McKenzie came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Royals, surrendering five runs on nine hits -- including three home runs -- and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.

Advice: He was taken deep twice by Bobby Witt and once by Hunter Renfroe as McKenzie dug a 5-0 hole through four innings, but the Guardians were able to climb out of it. The right-hander's suddenly having trouble keeping the ball in the park -- after serving up only six homers over his first nine starts of the season, McKenzie's coughed up multiple long balls in three straight outings and has a 7.04 ERA over that stretch. He'll try to turn things around in his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in Miami. Rotowire.com Today, 7:28 am
    • Goes yard twice in loss
Witt went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday's 8-5 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: The 23-year-old superstar took Triston McKenzie deep in the third and fourth innings to help stake the Royals to an early 5-0 lead, but Seth Lugo and the bullpen couldn't make it hold up. Witt has hit safely in 16 of the last 17 games, a stretch in which he's slashing .378/.400/.716 with six homers, two steals, 15 runs and 23 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 7:23 am
    • Swipes fifth bag
Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Tuesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Reynolds has enjoyed a productive stretch across his last 12 starts, collecting 14 hits across 52 at-bats. He's also tallied three home runs, 12 RBI and a stolen base in that span. Reynolds has hit second in every game this season and should remain a steady contributor across all five categories. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:29 pm

    • Settles in for fifth win
Pepiot (4-2) earned the win over the Marlins on Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits over six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Pepiot got off to an ugly start Tuesday, allowing three runs in the opening frame. However, he'd proceed to blank Miami over his final five frames while allowing just one additional hit while the Rays rallied for a 9-5 victory. The 26-year-old Pepiot now has 15 strikeouts over his last two starts (11.2 innings). His ERA sits at 3.96 on the season with a 0.96 WHIP and 59:16 K:BB across 10 outings (52.1 innings). Pepiot is currently in line for a home matchup with Baltimore early next week in his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:50 pm

    • Ryan Pepiot has quality start in win
Ryan Pepiot allowed three runs on six hits in six innings in a win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Pepiot struck out eight and walked none and now has 15 strikeouts over 11 2/3 innings over his last two starts. The 26-year-old earned 13 whiffs on his four-seam fastball and 17 whiffs overall on 52 swings for a 33 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW. His first season in Tampa Bay has been a success thanks in part to better fastball usage up in the zone. He’ll carry a 3.96 ERA into a tough start against the Orioles next week. • Bobby Witt Jr homers twice in loss
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: Witt smacked both long balls off of Triston McKenzie, hitting a 434-foot shot in the third inning and then a massive 454-foot bomb in the fourth inning. He now has 11 home runs on the year to go along with 46 RBI and a .319/.371/.565 slash line. With the injury to Ronald Acuna Jr. and the struggles of Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr. is setting up to be the number-one pick in fantasy leagues next year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:27 pm
    • McKenzie hit hard in no-decision against Royals
Triston McKenzie allowed five runs on nine hits in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: McKenzie allowed four extra-base hits on the day but three of them were home runs, including two by Bobby Witt Jr. The lanky right-hander was able to pitch well after word came out that he was pitching through a tear in his throwing elbow; however, he’s now allowed 12 earned runs over 15 1/3 innings in his last three starts. McKenzie’s off-speed pitches posted 10 whiffs on 19 swings, but his four-seam fastball didn’t miss bats and got hit hard. Given his injury and lack of velocity, McKenzie is walking a tightrope and doesn’t need to be held in all fantasy leagues. He now has a 4.16 ERA on the season heading into a tasty matchup against the Marlins on Sunday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:13 pm
