    • Kyle Tucker goes deep as Astros top Rockies
Kyle Tucker smacked his sixth home run of the season on Saturday night as the Astros topped the Rockies in Mexico City.

Advice: Tucker went back-to-back with teammate Yordan Alvarez in the third inning, with Tucker’s 409-foot (97.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Cal Quantrill increasing the Astros’ lead to 4-2. He also singled, walked and scored a total of three runs in the ballgame, finishing the night 2-for-4. He’s having another terrific all-around season at the plate, slashing a robust .291/.402/.534 with six long balls, 18 RBI and five stolen bases through his first 27 games. • Homers in win
Perkins went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run during the Brewers' 7-6 win over the Yankees on Friday.

Advice: Perkins' two-run shot in the third inning gave Milwaukee a 4-2 lead over the Yankees, helping the Brewers to an extra-inning victory. The 27-year-old has been a pleasant surprise for the Crew early in the year, slashing .313/.421/.500 through 76 plate appearances. His role as a near-everyday outfielder will come to an end once Christian Yelich (back) returns from the injured list, but Perkins' recent production could allow him to enter the lineup somewhat regularly even after Yelich is healthy. • Homers in loss
Reynolds went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Reynolds got the Pirates on the board in the third inning with a two-run shot off Bryse Wilson, Pittsburgh's only two runs in the eventual defeat. It's the third homer of the year for Reynolds and his first extra-base hit in 13 games. The switch-hitting outfielder is now slashing .263/.386/.411 with 15 RBI, nine runs scored and a pair of stolen bases through 25 games this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 7:14 am
    • Bryan Reynolds clubs two-run bomb in losing effort
Bryan Reynolds clubbed a two-run homer on Wednesday night, providing all of the Pirates’ offense in a losing effort against the Brewers.

Advice: The 29-year-old slugger got the Bucs on the board in the home half of the third inning, launching a 402-foot (103.1 mph EV) two-run shot off of right-hander Bryse Wilson that pulled the Pirates to within a run at 3-2. That would be as close as they would get. Reynolds also drew a walk and struck out twice in the ballgame, finishing the night 1-for-3. For the season, he’s now hitting .263/.386/.411 with three homers, 15 RBI and a pair of stolen bases through his first 25 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 6:34 pm
    • Gets day off
Carpenter is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Carpenter's absence from the lineup is likely a result of the Rays' plan to deploy southpaw Tyler Alexander as their primary pitcher out of the bullpen. With Carpenter on the bench for the first time since April 9, Riley Greene and Wenceel Perez will occupy the corner-outfield spots while Mark Canha serves as Detroit's designated hitter. • Kyle Tucker tallies two hits in loss to Cubs.
Kyle Tucker went 2-for-3 with a double and run scored in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

Advice: Tucker and the Astros played catchup all evening after a five-run first by the Cubs created an immediate deficit that proved too much to overcome. Tucker and Jose Altuve were the lone Astros to record multiple hits on the evening, as Tucker now has multi-hit performances in three of his last four games. He continues to stay hot batting in the middle of the Astros’ lineup and remains a top fantasy asset. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:48 pm
    • Continues early-season success
Cowser went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Angels in a 4-2 win Monday.

Advice: Cowser accounted for Baltimore's final run with a seventh-inning solo shot off Reid Detmers. It was the young slugger's sixth long ball of the campaign and his second in as many games. Cowser looked lost facing major-league batting for the first time last season, posting a .115/.286/.148 slash line with a 28.6 percent strikeout rate over 77 plate appearances. He's turned things around dramatically to start this season, however, recording a .364/.400/.800 slash line along with 12 extra-base hits, 10 runs, 17 RBI and three thefts through 60 plate appearances. • Colton Cowser gets start versus lefty, homers
Colton Cowser homered in a second straight game Monday against the Angels.

Advice: Since the Orioles were facing a lefty, Cowser might have been on the bench for this one had Austin Hays been healthy. As is, he made his second start versus a southpaw and hit his second homer off one when he took Reid Detmers deep in the seventh. He’s at .364/.400/.800 for the season. • Opens scoring Sunday
Cowser went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Cowser had gone 3-for-14 with no extra-base hits and seven strikeouts over his previous five games. The outfielder opened the scoring in Sunday's contest, the first of back-to-back homers for the Orioles in the third inning. Cowser is up to five long balls, 16 RBI, nine runs scored, six doubles and three stolen bases while slashing .373/.411/.784 through 56 plate appearances. Austin Hays is dealing with calf tightness, so Cowser's short-term playing time should be steady. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:10 pm
