    • Three hits, steal in loss
India went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Giants.

Advice: India posted his second multi-hit effort of May, but he's still hitting a modest .216 (8-for-37) for the month. All three of his hits Sunday were singles. The second baseman is up to a .225/.331/.310 slash line with two home runs, four steals, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored, three doubles and a triple over 35 contests this season. Despite his lackluster hitting, India's fourth on the team in batting average and sixth in OPS, so it's unlikely he'll lose a starting role any time soon. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:36 pm

    • No-decision Sunday
Montas allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Montas was cruising until the Giants built up a five-run rally in the fifth inning. The right-hander has made seven starts this year, and in the six during which he has been able to avoid injury, he's allowed two or fewer runs three times while giving up five runs in each of the other three. That averages out to a pedestrian 4.20 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB across 30 innings overall. Montas is projected for a difficult road start versus the Dodgers in his next outing. • Victorious in return
Bello (4-1) picked up the win Sunday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over five innings against the Nationals. He struck out one.

Advice: Bello picked up right where he left off before going on the IL with a lat injury, tallying a third straight win and yielding fewer than three earned runs for a fourth consecutive outing. The two runs charged against Bello came in the fourth when Eddie Rosario swatted a two-run home run. Despite the long ball, Bello was extremely efficient, getting through five innings on 68 pitches. Bello's restrictions should lighten throughout his next few starts, beginning with a road bout with the Cardinals in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:59 pm

    • Frankie Montas pulled in fifth against Giants
Frankie Montas was roughed up for five runs — four earned — in 4 2/3 innings by the Giants on Sunday.

Advice: Montas has shown better velocity in two starts since coming back from a forearm issue, but after a strong outing last week against the Diamondbacks, he didn’t do much to impress today, even while opening up with four scoreless frames. Just six of the 38 swings against him produced misses, and he allowed nine hard-hit balls. He’s a weak mixed-league option right now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:56 pm

    • Jackson Chourio goes 0-for-2 in return to lineup
After sitting out four straight games, Jackson Chourio went 0-for-2 with a walk in his return to the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Chourio had a nicely hit liner, but it was caught by Brandon Crawford at short. The Brewers could have sent Chourio down last week, but they thought the break to work on things was a better idea. One imagines he’ll have to turn things around over the next 7-10 days in order to avoid a stint in Triple-A. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm

    • Bello returns with solid outing against Nationals
Brayan Bello allowed two runs on four hits in five innings in a win over the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Bello struck out just one and walked two, but he also allowed only one extra-base hit and an average exit velocity of just 85 mph. He didn’t miss many bats in this one, with a 19 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but it wasn’t a bad effort in his first start coming off the IL. He’ll look to build on it next week against a reeling Cardinals offense. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:40 pm

    • Jazz Chisholm picks up two hits in win over Phillies
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 2-for-3 with a double, a triple, and an RBI in a win over the Phillies.

Advice: Jazz laced a 102 mph double off of Zack Wheeler in the third inning that got a three-run inning started and later tripled off Wheeler in the fourth inning to drive in a run. The Marlins’ leadoff hitter had hits in every game but one this week, going 8-for-23 with a home run, a steal, and two RBI. He also only scored three runs all week despite those stats, so the Marlins’ inconsistent offense is going to impact his fantasy value a bit going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:15 pm

    • Luis Gil twirls six shutout in win over Rays
Luis Gil threw six shutout innings in a win over the Rays on Sunday, allowing three hits while striking out three.

Advice: Gil also walked two on the day and showed solid enough command, pounding the zone with his four-seam fastball over 60 percent of the time. The changeup was the only pitch that wasn’t consistently landing in the zone, but he got plenty of swings and misses with a 29 percent whiff rate on it. It wasn’t a dominant effort with a 23 percent CSW, but he didn’t allow much hard contact. His season ERA is now down to 2.51, and he has a great start against the White Sox next weekend and should be started in all league types. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:50 pm

    • George Springer goes 0-for-4 in loss to Twins
George Springer went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts against the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: The Blue Jays still haven’t wavered on Springer in the leadoff spot, but maybe it’s time. He’s down to .200/.273/.290, and while Statcast thinks he’s been awfully unlucky, he’s still trending in the wrong direction in recent weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:30 pm
