    • Getting Sunday off
Young is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Advice: Young will take a seat for the series finale after he went 2-for-17 with five walks, one double, one stolen base, three runs and one RBI while starting in each of Washington's last five games. Victor Robles will replace Young in center field while C.J. Abrams takes over as Washington's leadoff hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 8:21 am

    • Sitting Sunday
Turner is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against Minnesota.

Advice: Turner will get a day off in the series finale as the Blue Jays hand Daniel Vogelbach a start at designated hitter in his stead. The 39-year-old has gone hitless over his last three games and is 3-for-30 with two runs and one RBI in May. Rotowire.com Today, 7:58 am

    • Another multi-hit performance
Rooker went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's win over Seattle while also drawing a walk.

Advice: Rooker singled in each of his first two at-bats, with the latter one driving home Brett Harris to put the A's on top 2-1. The right fielder would also draw a walk in the eighth before stealing second and coming around to score Oakland's fifth run of the game on a Max Schuemann double. Rooker has now hit safely in five straight games and has recorded multiple hits in three of his last four overall, posting one homer, four RBI and five runs scored over that latter stretch. • Justin Turner not starting Sunday against Twins
Justin Turner is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Twins.

Advice: Turner went 0-for-9 in the first two games of the series against the Twins and is hitting just .100 with a .229 OPS in the month of May. The 39-year-old grabs a seat on the bench for the finale with Daniel Vogelbach hitting sixth and operating as the designated hitter. Rotoworld Today, 7:35 am

    • Goes deep in loss
Hoerner went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run, an additional run scored and two total RBI in Saturday's 10-9 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Hoerner took rookie Paul Skenes deep in the fourth inning for just his second long ball of the season. He drove in another run an inning later when he walked with the bases loaded. The low power output isn't too surprising, as Hoerner had only nine home runs last year and just 10 in 2022. The shortstop has still been productive in May with a .300 batting average and .941 OPS for the month along with both homers and three stolen bases. Rotowire.com Today, 5:35 am

    • Matt Chapman wallops grand slam to sink Reds
Matt Chapman went 2-for-4 with a grand slam on Saturday, propelling the Giants to a 5-1 win over the Reds.

Advice: Chapman’s 416-foot moonshot to left-center field off Reds starter Nick Lodolo with two outs in the opening frame was more than enough run support for San Francisco’s pitching staff to pull away with an easy victory at Oracle Park. It was his fifth round-tripper of the season and first time he’s gone deep since April 16. Rotoworld Today, 3:21 am

    • Triston McKenzie goes 6 2/3 in loss to White Sox
Triston McKenzie was charged with two runs over 6 2/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the White Sox.

Advice: McKenzie, who it’s worth noting is pitching through torn ligament in his right elbow, got into trouble early when he allowed a pair of runs in the second inning, which were enough to eventually saddle him with a loss. He struck out five and also handed out a trio of free passes. The 26-year-old righty has shown some signs of improvement following a dreadful stretch to open the year, even if he’s not racking up a ton of strikeouts, allowing two earned runs or fewer in six consecutive starts since April 19. He’ll bring a serviceable 3.54 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 35/24 K/BB ratio across 40 2/3 innings (eight starts) into a home matchup on Friday against the Twins. Rotoworld Today, 3:02 am
    • Smacks key homer
Joe went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run Saturday against the Cubs.

Advice: Joe lifted a three-run home run in the third inning, his fourth long ball of the campaign. He's hit well overall this season, which has helped him move from a short-side platoon role to a role as a near-everyday player. Joe has started eight of Pittsburgh's last 10 games, filling in for Rowdy Tellez at first base against lefties and for Michael Taylor in the outfield against righties. Rotowire.com Today, 12:15 am

    • Posts another strong start
McKenzie (2-3) took the loss against the White Sox on Saturday, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out five batters over 6.2 innings.

Advice: McKenzie was tagged for two runs (one of which was unearned) in the second inning but otherwise kept Chicago off the scoreboard in his second-longest outing of the season. Cleveland was able to give the right-hander only one run of support, however, resulting in his third loss of the season. McKenzie began the campaign by giving up 11 runs (nine earned) over his initial 13 innings, but he's yielded just seven earned runs across 27.2 frames since to lower his ERA to a respectable 3.54.
