Sale has worked seven-plus innings in three straight starts for the first time since June 2018, and he's allowed three runs or less in four of his five outings so far for Atlanta.       Advice: Miller continues to flourish in the closer role -- he's a perfect six-for-six in save opportunities so far and hasn't given up a run since his first outing of the campaign. The right-hander's heater is also paying off with big strikeout numbers, as he's racked up an impressive 23 punchouts over 11.1 frames.       Mason Miller recorded a four-out save on Thursday against the Yankees.

      Advice: Miller might be the most electrifying pitcher in baseball at the moment. Athletics manager Mark Kotsay handed him the ball for a four-out save opportunity at Yankee Stadium and he immediately responded by striking out Jose Trevino on a 101 mph fastball to end the eighth inning. He came back out to protect a two-run lead in the final frame and recorded two additional strikeouts to successfully work around a one-out infield single from Anthony Volpe. The hard-throwing 25-year-old former top pitching prospect has converted all six of his save opportunities this season to go along with a microscopic 1.59 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 23/4 K/BB ratio across 11 1/3 innings (nine appearances).
